Re: @Preds ❤️

[ Edited ]

@Yahooey : I also need more brain cells but not sure where to purchase them. Any product on the market to recharge what we have left? Also , need something for more energy and less joint pain. Tis the season for miracles : I'm making my list.

Totally fed up with my gastro doctor. No return call from him or his nurse. Called the office yesterday and they closed at 12. I checked with my pharmacy to see if he called in a new medication but no.

I called my health insurance to see if I had any better gastro doctors.

My symptoms are very uncomfortable and embarrassing but not ready to go and sit in the emergency room for 3 or more hours.Another side effect of this stuff : sudden chills and flu like symptoms including all over joint pain.

I have read more articles about ulcerative colitis and doing the best that I can considering everything. Maybe too much information but also purchased some adult diapers and dealing with everything, they are more comfortable than regular undies. So for now staying home. I will be calling that office, first thing Monday morning. On the positive: I have a bidet toilet seat, two cases of toilet paper, 8 pack of wet wipes, three cans of room spray, and airwick  room mist fragrance thingy.  Food includes : Prunes, applesauce, raisin bran and any other item that will make my plumbing work. Not worried about calories or losing weight during this, I do  not want to gain weight but to much other stuff to deal with.My bathroom is in the den and I can watch tv, while sitting on : My Throne. 😊😀😁😁😁

Weather for today and tomorrow: cooler temperatures and rain.

I am trying to stay busy and focus on other stuff, busy wrapping Christmas gifts.

I told @cowboy sam to look for my brain cells since she is very good at finding lost items... so far - no luck

@SouthernBee and @geezerette thinks we should buy brain cells in bulk

with shipping the way it is .... dont know when i will get my share of cells

today is sunny and going to be mid 40s

going to do some grocery shopping and laundry

i know.... dont be jealous

@Yahooey ... I just dust them off once in a while and remove some each evening before bed and keep them tucked in my bedrom drawer to rest overnight and they become renewed!...lol...I am happy to share with my special Preds' friends in need!...Beware though, you may become a little "kooky"!   😂

@SouthernBee

i'm so sorry you are in pain

if the doc that wanted to get the colonoscopy asap

found the cause and didnt give you options for relief

shame on him

and of course it is the weekend -

i'm sending you prayers that you find some relief

for me - and idk if any of this helps you bc of your condition

drinking more water - moves everything

also - i lay on the bed - and stretch - tuck and untuck

basically moving the lower body

and i know your mobility is limited

sending hugs

@Yahooey : Thank you. Great ideas. I really appreciate your exercise suggestion. Everything that I have read : increased drinking water and exercise and trying to do both. One article indicated to be sipping on water every 20 minutes and best to drink water and nothing with caffeine and I have been on decaf drinks for over 20 years. If I am cold, I drink the Swiss Miss no sugar hot chocolate mix because it is 99%caffeine free.

Thanks again.🤗

@SouthernBee

I love the "Swiss Miss" dark chocolate mix  but hard to find in stores ...as they have   only   have the milk chocolate, or milk choc. with marshmellows!

When i do find it i buy  the big box of 50 packs...and price is higher,,,,,but worth it as a treat .... or like you said ..to get warmed up!

but... right now i have the Nestle brand that i ordered from Wally....and taste isn't as good!  Maybe i need to recheck online again  for Swiss Miss dark choc,

Like @Yahooey mentioned...i think dr. should have given you something for your pain...ot advised what you could take for it over the counter.

We just want you to feel better🤗🤗

Whatcha doing today?

Its 48 degrees  and raining here!

Neighbor "walked me"lol!Smiley LOL  yesterday  as we walked downtown to pay our water bills  and stop at  the bank...

she went inside to pay her cable bill,

while i went to walk-up ATM machine  to get more gift giving money out!Smiley Frustrated

I need to do a load or 2 of laundry today!

@cowboy sam   Howdie!!!  No shopping today.  Just staying in and keeping dry.  We're now in that "gloomy" pre winter, time of year.  As winter ends, we go through the dreary gray days.  We have 6 seasons, LOL

Have fun.  Just popped up, we have a wind advisory now.  Oh well we're in.

Good Morning Y'all: I need your suggestions on something. I know that I can Google but prefer info from you that have tried the product. I need a larger microwavable mug with handle and vented lid that does not get too hot, doesn't stain and easy to clean. I will be using it for oatmeal and soup. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks. 🤗
