uh..i thought to myself...where did i put my Copper Joint ankle brace??? i wanted to put it on to wear to bed tonight...

so i'm hunting on my couch,in between my blankets,sheets on my bed,in bag with my hand braces   on the couch,etc....no luck!

sigh! i gave up and decided to take my socks-anklets off for the night....and lo and behold my black ankle brace was on my right foot!

Lawdy..i need help!

ok..i had a piece of chocolate pecan pie in a resturant...it was a small slice  and i couldn't really taste the chocolate....anyone else taste it before??....i loved the pecans  in it!

Thank you.  I do seem to feel better this morning.  I still think most of my problems are from our weird weather.  Not a whole lot I can do about that.

I hope you find your Uggs!  Those are special indeed.  You know about missing items--they're always in the last place you look!😄

Good Morning friends! 

Today is my birthday.  I was born on an Election Day and this year it is falling on it once again. My son and daughter in law will come by with their pup. They are ordering Deli sandwiches and potato salad and coleslaw.

I am so proud of the man my son has become. I am honored to be his mom. He's thoughtful and kind hearted.

DIL a made a professional quality from scratch carrot 🥕 cake; which is my all time favorite.  I always choose that when she asks what kind I would like.

Cream cheese frosting and decorative rosettes, pineapple flowers lightly browned adorn the top. It is a sight and delicious!

She is such a lovely young lady. I get along beautifully with her. I didn't have a daughter, and so I am happy to have her in the family now.

@SouthernBee My DIL has problematic feet as well. In fact she will be going for another operation on them tomorrow.

She has had numerous surgeries on her feet since she was a child. 

My husband is walking Jake and then we are going down to the diner for breakfast this morning. I am off from work so we will take advantage of that. 😊

all that sticky goo doesnt appeal to me 

i'm assuming it is sticky

is this a southern thing?

today is dreary - so going to do my checkbook

yikes - havent done it since april -

i dont write everything down - online payments and i do it every so often

but i didnt think it has been that long

guess during the summer - i was busy

i check from time to time to make sure i have enough money for auto payments

@cowboy sam : I love chocolate pecan pie. The ones purchased for use in restaurants or frozen are usually skimpy on the good ingredients. I don't make pecan pie often but I usually double the amount of pecans to have a more thick texture instead of gooey sweet. Hope you can understand this.
