Good Morning Friends,

Sipping a cup of tea and waiting for my hubby to come up with an everything bagel and vegetable cream cheese.

The one thing about living in NYC is the bagels. They are so good.

When I see that guy on QVC selling those frozen bagels and the hosts going on and on about them, I have to laugh.

They look small and pathetic. But I guess they might be good, especially for regions that don't really have bagel spots.

What do I know? I'm a sucker for Corkys and I think I'm getting southern bbq  😝 Some from down that way would laugh their butt off at me!

I'm also a sucker for Juniors cheesecake, and although there's one near me and the original in Brooklyn, it's easier, convenient and cheaper (Juniors shipping is obnoxiously ridiculous) for me to order and have it waiting outside my door when I come home!

Is there a food item they sell on QVC that is native to your region and you would never buy from the Q?

@geezerette @cowboy sam@KBEANS :Good Morning

@cowboy sam : Glad no injuries from car accident. Understand the allergy issues. Really hate craving something to eat and the disappointment of not receiving the desired taste.

Y'all , got a lot done yesterday. Dressing for the holidays are in the freezer. Dh received a package and gave it to me. It was 5 pounds of shelled pecan halves. I put them in the fridge but today will put them in smaller freezer bags.

@geezerette : I ordered the Hoover carpet cleaner. Disappointed when I put it together because it is all plastice. Dh and I decided to try it last night. Wow: impressed. Our carpet is old with a lot of  worn walking paths but this made a difference and made the house smell wonderful. It was really easy to remove both containers to clean and refill the water tank. DH was shocked. I didn't pretreat  any areas because wanted to see the results from the cleaning solution.

We don't have any pets but ordered one of the pet carpet cleaners because of the extra cleaning brushes on the bottom and extra upholstery attachment.

What are y'all doing today?🤗🤗🤗❤❤

@cowboy sam

"SAM" alert!! 🤠

Tonight at 8pm (central time) on Hallmark Drama channel (#186) the movie "November Christmas" is on with Sam Elliott.

Just in case you hadn't seen that it was on, don't want you to miss a chance to see your Sam.😉

@Yahooey : Pecans for fudge, brownies, and muffins and cookies. Plus, I make a cranberry salad for the holidays and the original recipe calls for a cup of pecans but DH prefers about 2 1/2 cups.

I have a fruit salad recipe that includes diced apples, drained pineapple tidbits, cherries, miniature marshmallows, sour cream and pecans: DH prefers double the amounts of chopped pecans.

I always preferred pecans over walnuts when I used to bake.  And the more, the better!

Your fruit salad sounds a lot like one my mother used to make.  Yummy!😋

@geezerette : When I make the fruit salad , I always double the recipe. We enjoy snacking on this while watching tv. I will make this after I see my doctor on Tuesday. Of course it's a sweet salad but healthier than a bag of cookies or  candy. Do you remember your Mother's recipe?
