@Yahooey ...Since you are our Chef de Cuisine, I would love for you to share your Chili recipe with us when you have the time. 😋

@MyShadowLove

i dont remember where I got this from.... I brown the meat 1-2 lbs.... drain grease and brown the onions (1cup) ..... I basically dump everything and simmer at least 1 hour up to 2 hrs

I add a can of diced tomatoes - a can of green chillies - a jar of marinara sauce - a can of kidney beans - a can of pinto beans - 1 TBS of chii seasoning + salt to taste

I make my own chili seasoning - i didnt want to invest in a jar of seasoning since i didnt know whether i would be making more chili in the future - i bought canned chili - this concoction is pretty good to me - 1 TBS of the chili powder or more or less

i received a free packet of McCormick's chili seasoning and i like mine a lot better

make it ur own - add more cayene pepper or more paprika - sometimes i add an add'l TBS of paprika to the chili.... it is very forgiving

what is ur chili recipe?

@Yahooey ...Mine is from several years ago and I've added my own special touches throughout the years.

2 lbs. extra lean ground beef...

1 large red onion, chopped...

3 cloves garlic, crushed

1 red pepper, chopped

1 green pepper, chopped

3 tblsp. chili powder

1-1/2 tsp paprika

1-1/2 tsp. oregano

1 tsp. ground cumin

3/4 tsp. cayenne pepper...adjust to likeness

3/4 cup beef stock

1 28 oz. can unsalted diced tomatoes

3 1 lb. cans of beans....thoroughly rinsed

   dark red kidney beans

   black beans

   garbanzo beans

Brown beef with garlic, onion, green & red pepper....drain off any juice...

Add to Slow Cooker...

Add chili powder, paprika, oregano, cumin, cayenne pepper...

Mix in seasonings thoroughly throughout meat mixture...

Add beef stock...

Add tomatoes and beans...

Mix gently...

Cook on Low in Slow Cooker for approx. 6-7 hours.

Voila'!  😋

@Yahooey ...Yours sounds very Yummy too as with everything you make!...Yes, it definitely makes a LOT - a full pot...so I leave some out for leftovers and freeze the rest.

I love my Slow Cooker...I do chili, soups and some chicken recipes...only using  chicken parts such as legs or thighs...chicken cacciatore, etc....I have never cooked a roast or full chicken in my Slow Cooker...I prefer traditional roasting in the oven and surrounding the roast or chicken with vegetables.

I'm getting hungry!  LOL  😋

Hi Y' all: What's up? Very cold morning and turned the heat on. Warm afternoon and heat off.

I am really struggling trying to learn to eat Greek yogurt and like it. I don't like the smell and after taste. I have tried dannon  and the triple zero brand.  I don't know what changed because I could eat the Cannon  greek yogurt last year.  I have 6 more yogurt to eat.

Changes are difficult.
