@loveschocolate, My eyes filled with tears reading your 2 most recent posts.  I've had to work through the problem of inlaws who didn't like me, but it was more easily managed since there  was a vast geographic distance between us so it didn't involve many face-to-face contacts.

I agree with all the compassionate posts here. 

I was thinking that a family therapist, a good one, often can offer concrete, helpful advice because you can tell them all the details, let them get a complete picture of the situation, and they can be objective and also know of solutions you might not have thought about.  It would also means while your husband is there in the counseling sessions he would have to face the issues in a way that might make a light bulb go off in his head, to hear and see the problem more clearly and possibly realize he really does need to do something.

My late husband was a wonderful psychiatrist and an excellent family therapist, and even so he and I occasionally went to a psychologist who specialized in family counseling, so we could get objectivity and new perspectives.

You shouldn't be in this alone... please remember that you are not.  There's a lot of love and support out here for you.

Yes, it was the end of August when she last posted and she had stated that she would be consulting with the Neurosurgeon that week as to the best possible procedure....So, I'm staying positive and thinking that she is most likely  recuperating and we will hear from her when she is able.

I've also been thinking of @Mj12, continuing to pray for her and her medical team.  There are so many reasons to be away from posting for a while, and I think she has done that from time to time the same way many of us have...  so I, too am staying positive and looking forward to hearing from her.❤️

my morning is starting out great

today warmer and sunny - high 70s

so will be doing some yard cleaning - today is garbage day

pruning and getting rid of some stuff

drinking cawfee in the dark with some biscotti i made yesterday

yum!

and @dooBdoo was in da hous!

dat is alwais a great day starter

ai dink that was simon the cat behind the heart

weird ai dont know stuff i should know but can recognize a hidden cartoon cat?

Good Morning @Yahooey 

Yes, we are in for some beautiful weather starting today!...It's foggy out there right now and gradually clearing!...Sounds like you and Zoe are having a very cozy start to your day!...I like sitting in the dark and quiet also...very calming...I just need another furry blessing  to complete the picture and that time is getting close...I'll keep you all posted!  

I'm having a bowl of oatmeal with blueberries...Just pass me one of your delicious homemade biscottis and it will complete my breakfast!

the only light i get is from my laptop

i have told people i sit in the dark and they look at me funny

i guess i didnt complete the whole scenario 

now... i sound like a psycho if i had a weapon across my lap

You remind me of when I announce that I don't mind the rain,

...even when it goes on for days. 
Everyone always looks at me like I'm  crazy. 

People can express how much they love a sunny day, and proclaim it's beauty!  Then they turn around and complain about the humidity, in that same day they just called beautiful.

No one bats an eye.

Others can claim how beautiful the snow looks as it's

falling. Then criticize it after it piles up and inconveniences them. 

To this, others can nod their heads in agreement, and add their two cents, and share similar opinions, and it's all fine. Again, unfazed by the double standard.

Yet, when I say that I don't mind the rain, or God for bid... I like the rain, everyone sqwacks and is in disagreement with me.  I get all sorts of comments about  my comment, especially when I say," I don't care if it stops." 

I'm just giving a straight forward comment about my feeling toward rain. I don't mind being in it. I like to watch it. I don't care how long it lasts. I know it can be an annoyance, an inconvenience and it has been. That said, I still don't mind it. 😊 

At times, the rain gives me a chance, or an excuse, to not do anything! What's not to like about that? 

I also like the Songs about rain...especially the song by Gary Allan, titled,  😆 Songs about rain.  I love Kentucky Rain,  November Rain, Purple Rain, I Love a Rainy Night, I'm No Stranger to the Rain and I want to go outside in the Rain.
Just to name a few. 

Who knows why I like the rain? Maybe I was there for the 40 days and 40 nights of rain and I helped Noah build that ark. 😝 

Maybe because I'm a November baby?  My mother told me there was light rain, it was cloudy and foggy the day I was born, which was an Election Day.

So I really get your back to bed, in the dark bit. I find nothing crazy about that. In fact, I find it comforting.

I also like when it gets dark early too,  and enjoy daylight savings, switching back and forth.🍁  🍃🌅 🌝 but that's another story. 😝
