Well, I made a man's hat last few days, and still working on a lap cover (for nursing homes) and just recently learned how to do corner to corner, if you know what that is. If you get You Tube, you can see how some of those women who teach stitches do it. I like to watch and learn from some of those ladies. They have crocheted since they were 10 and up. Not me!!! LOL

Better late than never, LOL I love yarn, what colors!! I got bored with doing planners, I took it too far, and it no long was creative for me. I still have more than one calendar for appt's etc., but decorating them, nah.

Anyway thanks for the shout out and if you can cook/bake go for it. I had to stop that since with baking, everyone seemed to have to watch their sugar. Must be my life as a dieter. LOL

I cook everything from scratch, tonight I made spaghetti, and the tomato sauce is a salt free can of tomato sauce, in which I add all my fresh herbs, basil, parsley, oregano, etc. and some hot sauce, with the browned hamburger, and it's really delicious on the spaghetti noodles. I also love making my hotdishes similar with whole wheat macraoni. I also have a great hamburger soup recipe that I love making.

Hi Y'all: Well I am reading my scriptures , praying and determined to stay calm. DD current job is with an UPS store. They were supposed to get paid yesterday but no one was paid and no reason given and no date of when they were to be paid. Well that is what DD told her Dad.🙄🤔DD is in the middle of her two weeks notice. Yesterday was her date to put in application for house in city she will be moving for a new job. She needed her paycheck for the security deposit. She will be renting.DH gave her the money for the security deposit. Suppose to be notified with in 24 to 48 hours if she is approved for the house. Then she would need extra money for utility deposits. Plus needs to enroll kids in school.

She wanted to move by the 28 th because the job starts 9/1/23.

We will be paying the moving cost. DH's nephew and the nephews brother in law stated they could move them on the 30th and we will be paying them since they will take a day off from work but this still will save us over a $1000. This date can't be changed to the 28th. DD is very upset. DH told her: you don't have the $1700 to pay the moving company and if you ask someone else for help you must accept what they can do for you. That's what he told her. Then he asked me to cancel my laundry room project for next week and me pay the moving company and he will pay the utility deposits, school supplies and a few school clothes.I told DH not paying the $1700 for the moving company. I don't watch soap operas because I'm usually in one. Sorry for sharing too much information. I need to see if I can go to sleep. Will be baking birthday cake for SIL tomorrow.

@loveschocolate In March. I've had a ton of tests, now something was recently found so that involved new doctors/specialists, and next week I'm having a brain angiogram to decide how best to proceed. 🤞🏻 It will all be fine. 🙏

ETA - not trying to be cryptic. I have a brain aneurysm but they found it before any damage was done. I am so, so grateful they found it.
