We agreeded the 6.3 cubic freezer was too big of one for me.

So Monday...i will walk to grc. store and buy just food to put in it  as my fridg/freezer is full.

I cooked this morning for tomorrow since we will go to our church group meeting today  5 p.m. to 7p.m. I cooked what Mama called : meal in a dish but several people call it goulash. I use ground chuck and cook it with onions and bell pepper: rinse and drain. Cook about 2 cups of macaroni and drain. Mix 2 cans of tomato soup with one can of creamed corn: add 2 cups of shredded cheese. Mix well with meat mixture and bake at 350 degrees until cheese melts or about 35 minutes.

Oh my! Yummy 🤤 I never tried that. it sounds great. I will keep this idea in my head! @SouthernBee 

I love it when friends share recipes. You can change up your meals that way! 

Anyone else have ideas? I know there is a recipe thread on here, but I'd like to hear what this group cooks! 🤗

@KBEANS : Thank you. With me being so slow , trying to use recipes with less ingredients but something that can be good but fills you up. Good with a salad and rolls.

Mama said the original recipe included olives and something else but she wanted the recipe to be kids friendly.

I keep it in a prominent place on my computer so I see it often, because I tend to get grouchy and sad and I need a "snap out of it" eye-opener from time to time. 

There's something well and truly special, unique, precious, and most excellent about each person who reads and posts on the forums -- yes, you there...  you who are reading this right now... I'm talking about you!

(Also, I think we all have at least a pinch of wacky, goofy, impish humor and giggles to make the special-person recipe perfection!🙃🤨😉)

And even if or when we might have disagreements or we "go sideways" a wee bit now and then, we come back together because we have so much more in common than "in difference." 

That's one of the many gifts our friend⭐️Preds⭐️ had... 

part of her magic...

reminding us to notice the simple abundances of the day, to be grateful, to find our smile when it might be the hardest thing to do, and most of all to be good to ourselves and to each other.

Good Morning Everyone!

Gorgeous weather here this weekend...We had some rain overnight and I love how everything looks so fresh afterwards!...We went to a very favorite restaurant of ours with friends last evening...They have a lovely outdoor eating area with a fountain in the middle of a small river that runs through the area...Many have their weddings there for its beautiful setting...We went at a perfect time just between Twilight and Night, which is my favorite time of day....The restaurant has small lights around the outdoor area and it is just so serene and peaceful.

Today, I will be fussing around the house and our yard and enjoying the beautiful weather....We will be definitely grilling....Chicken, Corn-on-the Cob, with Spinach Salad.

@KBEANS ...I love Eggplant and fix it a couple of different ways...either sliced, dipped in milk and Italian breadcrumbs...sprinkle with some oregano...top with tomato sauce...and roast in oven...top with shredded cheese about five minutes before taking out of oven...Or I sometimes make an Eggplant Casserole and just cube it, toss with some oregano, add tomatoes, red onion...top with breadcrumbs and roast...adding shredded cheese just about five minutes before taking outt of oven....I can make a meal out of just this with a green salad and sometimes corn-on-the-cob...Yummy!

@SouthernBee ...Good for you!...The Living Healthy and Wellness Center will be a wonderful addition to your overall healthcare...Will you still be with your current Primary Physician and coordinate your care with both?

@cowboy sam ...Yes, I now remember a while ago you sharing the names of your adorable Turtle Family...It was when I first posted about my Quacker Family which finally arrived safely...They are adorable and the perfect size....wonderful quality...They are now settled in our front garden area and I've already introduced them to a few neighbors as they walked by!...lol...They love them and got a kick out of their names...It didn't take them long to become quite popular around the neighborhood!

@Mj12...Hope all is well....You are always on the go...rushing in and out....(your avatar which I love)...You wear me out!   LOL
