@Yahooey and all.....my friend with the farm called me to come over and get some corn yesterday evening. Today I spent the day shucking it and cleaning it. Blanched it in boiling water, placed in an ice bath and froze six ears. I cut the kernels off the rest of it, froze two bags and made a huge batch of creamed corn. 😋

@loveschocolate ...How great to have a friend with a farm where you can get all kinds of fresh fruits and vegetables...I love going to the local  Farmer's Markets during the Summer months and make sure to freeze some for the Winter months...I'm sure your creamed corn is Yummy!

@cowboy sam ...The arrival date has now been changed due to the rain storms that passed through our area which delayed their flight...Mama Daisy now informed me that they should be arriving tomorrow...Your Turtle Family is also adorable and I love how you move them around... after all they don't stay put in just one place...LOL

Have you named them?  😄

Lubs ya too! Heart

@MyShadowLove

my turtles names are:

Terry

Tommy

Teddy

I moved them again from some square stones that used to be off my sidewalk to dog pen...that is now in Mo.

They are now back in my flower area  facing the street.

@Yahooey , fresh off the stalk! 😋 No corn maze at her little farm. Probably at some of the bigger farms. 👩‍🌾

Hi Y'all: Very busy dealing with a lot.

Daughter applied for a job relating to her degree. She was hired. Trying to help her relocate. She will be 90 miles closer to us. Good raise, new start and living in better but cheaper area all things considered. Starts new job first of September.

Plus notified today that my friend that cleans my house will stop  cleaning houses due to her back problems. DH doesn't want anyone else cleaning our house and said he will help me. That puts about $200 back in the budget.

Last contact with Pancake was Sunday when she gave me a belated birthday card and nothing was mentioned about walking. I will take her and wondering if she will call about walking out of my mind. I will exercise as much as I can at home. Start a  different schedule including more cleaning during the week and dealing with other daily necessities .The other friend stated she has a solid friendship with Pancake but in reality I have known Pancake much longer. It is what it is and I will not initiate any contact with them. I will be friendly if we have any contact at church. Changes are not fun but moving forward.🤗❤🙏🏼

Good Morning Y'all. Well decided so tired of being tried and no energy. Our area has new as of this month a living healthy and wellness clinic. Endocrinologist promoting help for thyroid issues, energy and weight. I sent them email to contact me for appointment. They called this morning. They accept my insurance.I didn't need a referral from my primary care doctor. They are 10 minutes from my house. We discussed my problems and health issues. She was shocked that  I was only on 5 prescription medicines and two vitamins. She will email me the new patient forms. My appointment is 9/25. Trying something different.

great news for your daughter -

90 miles closer - is it a lot closer?

if she was 3000 miles away -90 miles isnt a lot

but if shewas 150 miles away and now 90 miles closer - that is yay!!!

well done - new job - new location - new beginnigs

I hope it all goes her way -

yes - put pancake on the back burner for now

and hoping the new doc can help you
