@cowboy sam : Relieved that you walked with your neighbor instead of alone.

I checked and the food carriers are now $24. But I love the colors. They had a strong odor and been wiped out with a water and vinegar solution.

I will probably order another one since we back in church and getting more included in stuff. Definitely will be easier to transport food.

Bsrbie - it was kitchy - corny - just dont go expecting something lifechanging

I went bc i love Ryan Gosling - i never had a Barbie or dolls (1 or s) in general

I prefered stuff animals - but it was good fun

I preordered online from CAVA - one of those chain places where grain bowls are very popular in my area - you can order off a menu or make ur own bowl from a selection - the line is alwasys out the door - movie let out 115 and knitting starts 130

they are all in a 3 block area

I chose my own - starting with

greens (spinach) -

grains (brown rice) -

protein (grilled chicken) 

choose 3 spreads (traditional hummus, red ppper hummus, roasted eggplant dip)

toppings they had 15 choices (fiery broccoli, fire roasted corn, tomat+onin, cabbage slaw, olves, pita strips)

dressing - tahini caesar

each accompanying spread topping item is a cery small scoop - may a 2 tablespons

this is not mine - but gives you an idea - cost about 13.00 

i ate - and just knitted and chatting with those around us - you see the familiar faces even if you may know their names - it was great weather - high of 80

always choose a table with umbrealla and under the tree canapy

i gave my friend some tomatoes and focaccia that i baked sunday

oooh - i didnt post the bread on this thread but on another

i premeasured what size that would fit in a box - about 8x10 and decorated accordingly 

this is what she sent me - always nice that it is appreciated - 

she didnt want to cut the flowers - she will bring to her salon and share 

she always bring a home baked item and coffee  to share with the 2 people that work on her - they request what item they want

i never ever bring coffee and baked goods - do you?

Waving To Everyone!

Catching up with  your posts!...It's been busy here over the past week and a half....A very close neighbor friend and her husband moved to Maryland to be close to their son and his family...Their son came up to help them with the move and I also volunteered my services...My friend and I did the best that we could to keep our emotions subdued as we peeked at each other every now and then with tears in our eyes...lol...We are so used to living very close to each other and will miss each other very much...We went out for dinner before they headed out on their journey.

Such gorgeous weather this past week and our flowers and plantings are doing so much better now that they are getting more Sun...Our Rose Of Sharon Bush, which was planted last Summer, is filled with buds and I noticed this morning that we have one beautiful flower that opened up and are expecting the rest to open up this week also...Gorgeous...white with deep  pink center.

My twin is coming up for a short visit this weekend and, if the weather holds up, we will drive down to the shore area and enjoy.

@Yahooey ...Yummy pictures and what a great day you had with your friend!...So you went to see the Barbie movie and I see that you love Ryan Gosling also...I do too so we shall be mature about it and share him...lol..As far as the movie, I am going to wait until it becomes available on Cable and the only reason I will be watching is because of Ryan Gosling and I also  love Pink...although more subtle...lol...I watched the Trailer and you can tell that he is really having fun capturing the role of Ken...I will probably fast forward and just watch the scenes with Ryan Gosling only!  lol

Walked to grocery store early this morning for a loaf of wheat bread  and large bottle of coke.

Took a nap..and ate..thats it!

she didnt even know i had to do MATH to make the bread

measuring with a ruler on wet dough but not touching the wet dough with it

and then cuttin git along a NON outline - it was pretty straight
