hoping to go to knitting at the park tomorrow

it will be a full day - 

Barbie in the am - lunch and then knittibng

going w/my crochet friend - she cant knit - tried but no success 

she is left handed - i couldnt teach her

she will bring a home project and i wil lcontinue knittig the scarf 

but if it iis wonky - i will tear it out and adjust

i finished my 2nd project with the yarn i took

a headband - it was much better than the cotton rainbow yarn

i believe this is acrylic - the yarn that is made into scarves are acrylic

speckled brown yarn - can you see the cables - may be too dark to see

Well @SouthernBee  David V. is just as he seems he would be, kind and gracious, funny and down to earth. He took his time chatting it up with the customers.

He seems humble in what success he has had in life.

I really admire him. Some people on the threads point to the fact that he's only doing his sales pitch, salesman shtick. That may be so, but they're are forgetting, that's the reason he was hired and what has brought him success. 

I do have some photos with David V. and Carla Hall, but I am unsure how to post them here. I don't even remember how I posted my picture up in the corner which is Jake.

The guy from Corkys BBQ, Jimmy Stoval (we call him Jimmy Snowball lol) was also a gentleman and friendly. You can tell those that are humble and have not been changed by their successes. He seems like this.  My husband was conversing with him. They are about the same age. My husband likes the sweet and spicy chicken tenders.

The one that really surprised me was the CEO. David Rawlinson. I never expected to meet him. Wasn't even thinking about corporate.

Very likable guy, and smart. He has a great sense of humor. He went table to table speaking with Q customers. He and I were laughing a lot as we talked. He told my husband I was QVC's best customer...of course he was joking...and he did get a laugh from my husband.

He asked me what I loved about QVC and what I didn't love...I let him have it with my brutally honest opinions. I wont go into it here, but I did tell him the things I didn't care for that are going on, and the things I did like. He really sat up and listened. 
My husband was telling me go easy. He said something like No, I want to hear these things. He said that's why he came down to meet with the customers. 

I never mentioned any host that I wasn't crazy for, but I did mentIon the ones I do like, and some of the models especially  Katia, vendors and some products. 

When I told him I loved the forums he mentioned that he brought them back after they had been removed. 

I didn't know what to expect visiting QVC.  I had a great time. I cut out of work to attend. 😝 The camera kept panning to me and I wondered if anyone from work would catch me. 😝

The QVC visit sounds wonderful. Thanks for sharing. When QVC first started really loved the shows and purchased a lot. I still watch a lot on line and look for good deals.

Back in the day really loved Susan Graver and a few others. I still have several of the Susan Graver long skirts and just recently replaced the elastic in the skirts because the material still looks good.

boo hoo - no Barbie = 

friend's place has water issues and the plumber is coming tomorrow morning

the water was coming through the wall - they put a bandaid on it a week ago

so i guess the real fixing is gonna happen - who knows

she was told NOT to use the tub - guess that would be tomorrow?

she lives in an apt complex - and has only 1 tub/shower combo

sending goos thoughts it can be resolved

i will still go and knit weather permitting

Lubs your head band

My grandaughter and her dh,daughter&son  from Mo. surprised me and stopped in  for a couple of hours.His grandpa passed away and they came up for his funeral.

Got lots of 🤗🤗🤗🤗,smiles and laughs   and new memories from them.
