@SouthernBee , it finally went TOTALLY out. Back on just in time for Amazon Prime Day. The nearest little town was still out yesterday. Cash only at the shops and restaurants.

Glad to hear the good news from your family.👍

My great-great niece is a toddler and it was just recently discovered she also is autistic.  Unfortunately her father (my great-nephew) has just been transferred cross country right after this was known.  They're up in the air a bit right now but hope once the family can get settled in their new home, they can find facilities to get her on the right track.  She isn't verbal, nor does she comprehend others' speech well either.  It's a rough time for that young family.

@loveschocolate : Mercy. Have you done any prime day shopping? 

This morning , I purchased a cream for the wrinkled cream for got what what's it called for really wrinkled upper arms and hope it helps my ugly arms . 

It is 89 degrees and cooler than what it has been but I just finished baking two cream cheese pound cakes. Finally a day with sunshine. My friend from Alabama will be in town for her daughter's wedding this weekend.

I have a cute holder for my toothpicks in the kitchen and can't get the top back on. I will look on Amazon for something else. Any Amazon purchases will be small and a good deal.🤗

I forgot to mention something.My friend that cleans my house had lightning damage on Friday afternoon. The lightning was first and then the thunder storms. First hit the well, two tv, the cable boxes, and the printer. The power company sent someone on Saturday morning and it was a crew from another state ( they gave the guys a tip and water to drink), our state crews were busy from so many storms. They had to call an electrician for the other house issues. DH and I gave them a donation to help with the extra expenses because they have really helped us.

Oh my--your poor friend!  That's a lot of damage...and expense!  Not to mention the hassle and inconvenience of not having all that stuff until things can get repaired and replaced, which we all know is not easy nowadays.

And you show your kindness once again by helping her out.  You're a good friend.❤️
