Good Morning Everyone! Heart

"Gawgeous" day today and landscape contractor will be here to clear up any debris from the Winter months and will do some edging and mulching...In reading through all of your posts, you now have me wanting to get a Peony to plant this year...such a beautiful flower.

I did some research and it was mentioned that the best time to plant them is in the Fall so, when I go to our garden center in another couple of weeks, I will check with them...I love perennials for obvious reasons as they come back each year....I will be getting  a few "Geranium Rozanne" perennials to fill in some areas...We will also add some "New Guinea Impatiens" which my husband likes...I will be filling our windowbox with "Supertunias" and flowering hanging Ivy...We already have various "Daylilies" scattered throughout our yard that are so hardy and perform so well each year....So that's about it and enough to take care of already!...lol...I think about those hot Summer months and the watering needed so we try to keep it all tolerable!  😅

ETA:...How could I forget...We also have a lilac bush in front of our bay window in our dining area....the beautiful aroma makes it way through the open windows....I also pick some and bring them in the house.

Supertunias... (annual)

@geezerette ...We have a small yard actually and the flowering perennials are scattered throughout and around our house amongst the bushes....mostly perennials so we don't have to plant each year...and then we just plant a few annuals in a couple of areas and in our windowbox.

Do you have any special flowers that you plant?

No, not anymore.  I used to, but between the weather and the critters, they all have gone by the wayside over the years.  Now I just have some greenery around the house and that's it.

I'm afraid I'm just not motivated anymore to do much--inside or out.

But I do admire those that tackle the job!

Hi Y'all: Busy today trying to determine how to redo my very small clothes closet. I have been using the Amazon Basics hangers20230426_123143_kindlephoto-487829333.jpg and thought they were good but before Easter they started breaking apart. Today purchased from Walmart this to put on different velvet hangers . Hopefully this will be better and stronger. No extra space to add any shelves . Only storage space available is on the floor under the hanging clothes. Very frustrating.I am still using a few of my old Joy huggable hangers.
