She came up from Mo. Wednesday to visit her aunt  for the last time  who is in hospice. Her aunt might not live very long now.

.She.called me and wants to visit with me and her daughters before she goes back home to Curt  tomorrow. (Saturday.)

I'm suffering from S.A.D.this week...too many overcast days!

@cowboy sam ...How great that you were able to enjoy a wonderful visit together with your family and I bet it healed your S.A.D. greatly!...I saw your other post where you came home with some Chicken Soup & Biscuits also...Comfort Food!

@SouthernBee ...How overwhelming it must be for you!...Is it at all a possibility that, when your husband is over his cold, he could make an attempt to lend a hand and be of more help to you?...That way, when he goes out to enjoy lunch with his friend, you aren't left at home picking up the mess that he has made...and you shouldn't be moving furniture around by yourself either...In reading through your recent posts, I just couldn't sit on my hands any longer!

the time change doesnt help matters either

it takes me a few days to get adjusted 

even though i'm not going anywhere like an appt - 

the time still makes me a bit cray cray

it goes w/o saying - a SNACK should go w/cawfee!!

it is nice u have sumtin' exciting for st patrick's day

college days - green beer -

@Yahooey ...Oh, most definitely!...He can do just about anything you want and has plenty of "SNACKS" available!...He's a very handy handyman!🤣

St. Patrick's Day celebrations will be starting early at many places so we all decided to make our reservations for 3:00 p.m....as we are still being cautious about overly-crowded places...and the Pub we are going to told us that most of the reservations are for later on...Their entertainment starts at 12:00 and will continue on throughout the evening hours...I don't like Corned Beef or Green Beer...I don't ingest anything Green that isn't supposed to be Green...lol...There will be three of us couples and, after we eat,  we will be heading back to one of the couple's home and finish off the night there....probably ending up doing our own personal versions of the Irish Jig!  LOL

@MyShadowLove : DH has a lot of medical problems that include emotional and mental. When I ask him to do something it includes me explaining and showing him what to do. Then he sometimes he  does the opposite of what I requested. Yesterday, I had put a storage bin on my utility cart to fill and thinking it would then be easier to slide over on top of another storage bin. I couldn't move it. I asked DH to do it for me. He repeated what I explained how to do it. He looked around . Asked why? I had to remind him why I was cleaning and moving everything. I had to show him again how to do it. Then he moved it. 

I moved slot of stuff off and around the tv stand. I discovered that DH had piled a lot of magazines on top of the cable box. The magazines were very hot. I sit down and said a prayer: Thankful that no fire was started. Not trying to say bad things or bash DH because he is a good man dealing with alot . Getting older is not easy and very stressful and difficult to realize not able to do so many things due to physical or mental issues.

Some days it is just easier and less time consuming to do stuff my self. Really don't want friends or relatives to help and hear certain comments about the junk. DH has purchased a lot of DVDS and CDS of old tv series, game showes and cartoons.

@SouthernBee ...I hear you and do understand how difficult it is for both you and your husband...There are services available...Have you thought about checking into a handyman service...They will do anything that you need help with and their prices are very reasonable...We have a couple of neighbors that have had a handyman service for a while and they are very pleased with them...We all care about you and don't want to see you hurting yourself by moving furniture and trying to take on everything by yourself.
