I decided to proceed with project but not replace the two window. The windows already have good blinds installed. The automated shades are thick black out shades that covers the window and blocks the sights or flashing of the firecrackers and some of the sound. Thinking that with all the windows with shades would be more help. Shades are easier to keep clean with a long handle duster instead of black out curtains to take down and wash.

I am still hoping that I can later have the carpet replaced. We moved in this house in 2003 and never replaced the carpet. It is really looking bad and loose with a lot of puffed up carpet or whatever its called.Plus still trying to save money for the back yard fence but this is the cycle of life and everything that everyone deals with.I try to giggle and laugh about everything instead of crying.🤗

@cowboy sam : Me trying to do laundry. Plus with the window project have 3 rooms to purge and rearrange so they can get to the windows. At least 1\2 of my room is already done.

I understand about house etc, i moved into my house in 1997, and worry about having to replace furnace and CA!This year????

Have had a new roof put on a few years ago plus new water heater.,washer&dryer

Carpet needs something done,dishwasher quit on me,need another shower head or have bath tub replaced?? 

its always somethingThe joys of owning a home.

Oh,i read in community that Dish Network  was recently hacked!Yep..i have had it  for many years!

My delivery from Walmart by FedEx was delivered and i love my new electric/plaid grey/with sherpa lining throw!

Shortly afterward 

My neighbor called to ask me if i wanted to walk.?...so we met outside in my yard and i gave her...her new electric throw same as mine  that came  in a clear zippered bag

She was so surprised and happy !  She told me she needed to hug me🤗

We had a nice walk and told me she ended up seeing the doctor yesterday...she had a UTI...she had been  trying to treat it on her own but couldn't. She now is taking perscrption med.

i ended up doing 2 loads of laundry instead of one.

it was sunny outside yesterday - thought i would take a long walk

it was breezy - then W I N D Y - it comes in patches block to block

of course the wind was behind me when i started and on the way home

it was so tiring fighting strong winds - luckily i was wearing sunglasses

i overdid it  - my feel were NOT happy

relaxing close to home today

@cowboy sam : Not fun trying to replace something you love and need. Wonderful about your delivery and loving it and then giving your neighbor the surprise gift.

I finished three loads of laundry plus worked in my room. Took several measurements and wondering how to rearrange everything to make the room look better. The room has two filing cabinets and decided one not needed. Text SIL to see if anyone in her family could use it  and they will pick it up today and I have a big box of other items for them. I have a small  heavy duty three tier storage shelving unit for our gallons of spring water sitting on one side of the window. This can be moved over to the opposite wall where the file cabinet was. This is next to the rooms door and will be easier to restock the shelf when needed.

I will finish rearranging everything today after SIL's visit. 

I was told it will be 3 to 4 weeks before the shades will be delivered.
