@Yahooey ...This video is so touching and awesome...The precious little calf is so grateful and appreciative and this is a perfect example of how animals of all kinds and humans can connect with each other and bring joy and unconditonal love into each other's lives.  

Yes, I belong on a farm with all kinds of animals and missed my calling!  LOL

it is very EASY to make biscotti

the base recipe calls for 1/2 stick of butter, 3 eggs flour and fixings

lnk if u are interested - u get approx 24 pieces depending on the width of the cookie

it last forever - it just gets a little harder - dunker

Good Morning Everyone!

Off to a beautiful start...Sunny and heading into the 40's today...I am so ready for Spring and eager to freshen up our yard and plant flowers, etc...I am getting ready and bought some new birdhouses to replace a couple of older ones that we have on the trees...I also bought some alpaca fiber that is packed into suet feeders...As soon as the first sign of Spring arrives, we will replace the birdhouses and hang the suet feeders from the trees...The birds love addng the alpaca to their nesting materials...makes them extra cozy for when they have their adorable broods....love watching them as they drag all kinds of twigs and other materials into their birdhouses...They work so very hard and diligently....I sometimes will see a twig hafway hanging out of a birdhouse and it makes me want to go out and climb up and push that twig into the birdhouse and help the little birds out...lol...but all eventually works out well.

@Bri369 ...So good to see your post...This website really needs some good updating but it doesn't look like it is happening any time soon...I only use my phone for when I am out and should need to call someone or someone needs to reach me...not for the internet which, as  you mentioned, can be a pain...It is small also and I am due for a newer model which I will be getting within the next month...I have a desktop computer which is about 8 years old and I'm thinking of maybe getting a laptop next time, but I've been told that the desktops last longer.

@Yahooey ...Your biscottis are perfection and look so yummy!...How about shipping a couple of packages out to us...kind of like a mini baking business...just for Preds' Friends!  😃

@cowboy sam ...Ooooh, a surprise package from your son...how thoughtful...Be sure to let us know what it is.

@SouthernBee ...Great idea about the sign...It should be very helpful for you...Let us know how your lovely new dresses are when they arrive...I have a few scoop neck tee tops from the Candace Cameron Bure line and they are very good quality.

Okay, wishing everyone a great day...I'm busy at home today and will be peeking in from time to time...which reminds me...@Yahooey ...I saw your post about how you have been been purging and organizing...I've been doing the same throughout these past few months...every closet, drawers, bathroom vanities, kitchen cabinets, etc...just have to check around the basement and will be all set with some items and clothing donations for the Salvation Army which is one of our very favorite charities...It feels so freeing, doesn't it?

this is my shortcut recipe - it DOESNT give u every detail but u get the gist

lmk if u have any questions - i'm more than happy to answer

as i said many times - i ALWAYS have biscotti in my jar

1/2 stick butter - room temp

3/4 cup toasted chopped nuts

1 tsp baking powder

2 1/2 cups flour

3/4 cup sugar

1/8 tsp salt

3 eggs

1 tsp vanilla

3/4 cup dried cranberries

Zest of orange

350 degrees

In mixer - butter, baking powder, flour, sugar and salt

mix well

In bowl - beat eggs and vanilla.

Pour liquids into mixer. - mix

switch to dough hook since dough will be thick

Stir in almonds, cranberries zest 

divide into 2 logs - bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees

take out logs and turn oven to 275 degrees

Cool enough to handle - slice

Bake 30 minutes more

i dont turn over the biscotti as everyone in every receipe says

i stand them up in an offset position - so air will circulate and bake 2 sides at once
