@geezerette : Amazing how doggies pick a special area and normally in the kitchen. Previously one friend always had extra large throw rug for the doggie and purchased extra ones to swap out when needing to wash them.

We has weather alerts yesterday..but it by passed us and we got a tad bit of snow on the ground but its 26  and sunny today.

Didn't walk yesterday but not sure yet about today.

I saw your message over there.👋  I hope @Yahooey sees it.

It's nice here today--finally sunny, but kind of windy and chilly.  We've been having so much rain lately everything is soggy.  We had some bad weather a couple of nights ago.  We're getting close to spring which means tornado season. 😩

Today I finally got a chance to wash my kitchen throw rugs.  They're one of the dog's favorite spots to lay and they were filthy because the weather has been so nasty I haven't had a chance to wash them.  They have to be hung outside to dry.  Sometimes I wonder why I bother since she'll just have them dirty in another day or two anyway!😖

And I've been cooking.  Well, basically just cooking up my meat so I can divide into smaller servings and freeze to take out when I want.  That made a mess since I did it all at once, so it took me a while to clean up after myself.

Now I'm having a break and finishing my morning coffee.  I was going to mop the floors, but I don't know if I have enough energy for that.  I might put it off til tomorrow, but then I have normal laundry and some cleaning to do.

26 is pretty cold to walk, but if the sun is out and it's not windy I suppose it would be okay.  Maybe a short walk just to get a little exercise?  Or maybe just a nap instead! 😉  Bundle up if you go out!🥶

This was delivered few days ago: Really upset that I purchased it. The recipe cards are disappointing because they have the same information that is printed on the back of each box. The dish towel is small and very thin. The spatula is good. The special design " Dolly " box was put in a double sized box which cost more to ship $13. Then my friend in Alabama told me that she can purchase the Duncan Hines Dolly Parton mixes at Krogers for $1.79 each. I don't have Krogers in my area. She will start purchasing some for me and give them to me when she visits.

I was very interested in the brownie mixes because I always use the DH brownie mix when I make brownies.
