Good morning @Yahooey : I got worn out reading about  your plans to bake cookies. Your cookies look wonderful and delicious. 

I have been on line shopping for various things. They came Wednesday and picked up DH exercise chair and I wanted a small narrow folding table for that spot (20x48). The table and tablecloth  are suppose to be delivered today. 

Yesterday, DH had appointment with his doctor and still has three weeks of physical therapy.

I wanted to do some baking but has been cloudy and raining until yesterday. I tried to bake a pound cake and turned out gummy. I then used my cupcake maker and made 40 cream cheese pound cake cup cakes little gummy but better results. I will freeze them and then Christmas Eve morning  make a glaze for them. I want to make some cookies and brownies but cloudy today. Tomorrow will be sunny and will try to finish baking. Haven't told DH but will order pizza so that I can bake instead of cooking.. Next week suppose to be cloudy and raining but need to focus on cooking. 

My friend that cleans my house has been sick and didn't come this week and probably not next week and busy trying to keep everything clean. 

My family friends from Alabama will visit Christmas Eve morning. My SIL and BIL will visit Christmas Eve afternoon. So I will probably be up late and get up early Christmas finishing the meal. DH friend wants to come and eat earlier around noon instead of around two but I didn't make any promises because he can visit with DH and wait . If someone invites you over  then please accept my schedule.

People don't appreciate or understand how difficult it is for me to do things especially if I am already tired and hurting.

If I bake cookies they will be sugar cookies and no special shapes but just round and no special decorations just red and green butter cream frosting. Just doing the best that I can since it's just me trying to get everything.

DH has been upset with me because I didn't prepare and send Christmas cards and told me that I needed to start earlier doing stuff. I reminded him that I have been stressed out since October with the refrigerator. Then he asked if I will start working on the income tax earlier like the day after New Years. Getting older and harder to ignore some stuff. Sorry for the rant.

Good news that your exercises have helped with your foot issue.

I was invited to a cookie exchange but had to decline. 

I wanted to order some cookies but very expensive and for me they don't really taste great.

i'm only doing cookies

u are preparing food - entertaining people in ur home on multiple occasions

shopping and wrapping presents - that is a lot

all the prepping and cleaning is as long as the cook or bake itself

dont run urself down,... take it easy and if it doesnt get done... it doesnt get done

priorities on what is a MUST and what is a 'would be nice to...'

Can I ask what nationality you are?...Your diverse cooking and baking dishes are maybe hinting at Greek or Italian or...?

Your post has me sitting tightly on my hands as I would love to have a few words with some of those "people" in your life that are making demands on you and giving instructions...I'm not sure how long I can hold out!

I think it's time you go on strike and head to a spa for some very well deserved pampering!
