Hi Y'all.DH recliner was delivered today while he was out eating lunch with his sister. It is difficult for me because it's a rocker recliner but I was determined to sit in it. Very comfortable and lays flat. I started crying because I really hate my chair except for the lift function. It is not comfortable to sit in during the day and very uncomfortable to sit in. I was a nervous wreck worrring about my expensive mistake and if DH would like his. He was very excited and chair very comfortable. 

I told DH how unhappy I was. DH agreed to take me to the recliner place. She only gives 3 days from purchase to return but stated if I found another chair she would deliver free ($89) and discount $100 on the chair. To have lift chair like DH chair would have been a special order and at least 3 month wait.She had only 3 chairs available to meet my needs. Stayed in the store 3 hours. The chair that I purchased sits 9 inches from the wall instead of 17 like the one I hated. It doesn't lay totally flat but 2 inches more than the other one - enough to make a difference. Plus the seat is wider. The arms are shapped square and flat which makes everything better. In debt but chair more comfortable. Praying that I can sale the other chair. At least DH was able to see that shopping for a chair is very complicated and expensive. I had planned to be in my kitchen today cooking my dressing for Thanksgiving and Christmas to put in the freezer.

Glad you got a better chair.  It is very stressful picking things out.  You're trying to make the best decision in that moment, but then when you get it home, it can be disappointing.

@Bri369 : Thank you. It's still not as comfortable as my older chair to sleep in but better and different. I dreaded the thought of special ordering and another 2 month wait. Then my charge card has the two other chairs and would have needed to ask for can't remember the correct term raised credit limit. I am still worried will need to replace the refigerator. I don't like to max out charge cards because something always happens and never at a good time.

I love DH but he isn't a good money manager.He wants to increase what we spend for others on Christmas and I am not comfortable with that. Other than family we have our friends from Alabama a family of 6. We love them and they are good to us but really wish we could stop all the seasons gift exchange but not possible. Due to my health issues would prefer to give all of them gift cards and we do except for the parents. DH thinks we should give them at least $100 each. I have already told DH that I will be cutting back on my cooking and baking for Christmas. I was busted by my doctor on Tuesday for my weight and have 6 months before the next appointment.

Apparently DH 's feet are larger. We have ordered from BA Mason before with no size problems. The slippers were too small. I ordered an larger size. The return slippers are packed for return but the return label is USPS Sure Post.  I made a copy of the label . Praying that the package will not get lost and take for ever to be returned. The dress shoes are on back order.The only other thing that I will be giving DH is a gift card to his favorite restaurant. 

I told DH that I needed my Crocs shoes for Christmas. I had to help him on his computer to order my shoes because he was confused about their shoe sizes and needing to order two different sizes for me to make one pair to wear. The left shoe was the 3-4 and the right was 5-7. I had a 25% coupon but he refused to use it but received free shipping. I begged him to use the coupon but he replied idn't want to be cheap on my gifts. Frustrating.
