Hello all - I haven't been here for a long time, having fell and broken my hip, had a partial hip replacement in late August, anyone here had one of those?  It seems to take forever to heal. My hip seems okay, but my legs, it's hard to walk, but I don't need a walker or cane, just need to exercise and do some walking.  I am slowly recuperating.  Sometimes I wonder if this is my new normal.  I am 82.

My DH is a great help. God bless you all.

good morning - idk if it is normal but everything takes MORE time as we get older

just continue doing ur exercises and one day at a time

it may not be as u were before the fall but i'm praying it will be BETTER than u are right now

No sleep last night.  It was so hot, kept sneezing, heard coyotes howling - it's going to be a long day.

hmm..    thanks it looks good    but i'm not hungry right now.

I woak up from a dream about having a cat about ready to give birth to kittens but she kept hiding on me!

But,i don't have a cat!  Nor do i want want one.

I'm a dog person but my dog died 2 years ago and i still miss him.

Anyway i woke up earlier than i wanted  to...and yawning right now.

Did zoe wakey u up?  was she wanting  your company? uha,oh yeah!

ya heard coyotes???   yikkes look out kitties,rabbits,small doggies -big doggies. But they  eat mice and that is a good thing!

I can't hear them in my house at all!. 

But.thats scary to hear them at night! I haven't heard them  outside in a while here

But that doesn't mean they are not in farmers empty field or timber  over yonder!

We have a lot of coyotes nearby.  We live very close to a forest preserve.  It has walking/running trails, a huge pond, space for people to picnic, etc.  There are signs posted about the coyotes.  Once in a while. I'll see one in the early morning.  

In the quiet of the night, if there are enough of them  howling, it's very loud.  It is scary.
