i never made it out yesterday - so windy and raw

still raw and windy today with rain coming sideways on and off

but will go out bc today is swimming and not another day of eating eating eating

and it was NOT kale i was inhaling.... sigh

Yes, its a good Monday...

I turned my tv on  and i have   MY channel 7   back on!!!!!,   plus FX,ESPN  back  thank you Dish Network 

I even had a email from dish letting me know my    missing channels  were now back  and thanking me for my patience.   more like panic err..uh i had no patience over the weekend over it !lol!

What a surprise!  I got the same email and immediately thought that now @cowboy sam will be able to watch her soaps!👏

I don't know if Disney relented to keep them on while they continue contract negotiations or if they got such a response from taking off ESPN on the weekend during football season.  Whatever.  I just hope they're back for good.

Although somehow I know this will just be raising our Dish bills.

Good Morning Everyone...

We drove down to my hometown in New York this weekend and had a great visit with my sister and family...My sister and I took off for a while and just drove all around visiting our High School Alma Mater and the neighborhood where we grew up, etc....We parked the car and walked through our childhood neighborhood....just reminiscing and becoming very nostalgic with each passing moment which we are very good at doing...lol...When we got back to my niece's house, we all decided to get some take-out food at a great Italian restaurant nearby and just had a cozy family evening catching up with each other...It all went by much too fast.

First thing this morning, I prepared a Chicken Meatball/Escarole/Carrot soup in the slow cooker to simmer all day...It is just one of the many yummy recipes from my Italian Slow Cooker recipe book and perfect for this Fall Weather.

Hope everyone had a good weekend!

Anyone else having a hard time loading images today?
