@MyShadowLove : Thank you. Totally lazy today. Never got dressed and still in my recliner.Took a nap. Easy meal for tomorrow. I will use my pressure cooker to cook a pork loin for bbq pulled pork sandwiches.Making coleslaw with packaged coleslaw mix and will add stuff to can of baked beans. Will use the left over coleslaw and beans for Monday and do airfryer bbq wings.Thankfully no appointments next week. 
DH swollen left hand really looks better after wearing the special glove that doctor suggested. He is still upset with the long recovery period, physically therapy and lingering pain but today distracted with all the football.🤗♥️

@SouthernBee ...Oh good, I'm glad that you are having a restful day today which you so definitely deserve.

I don't have a pressure cooker but I do love using my slow cooker for certain recipes....chili, soups, chicken cacciatore and a great Italian seafood stew...I don't cook roasts or whole chickens, etc. in my slow cooker...I prefer the traditional way....oven roasted with lots of vegetables.

Today, my husband is barbecuing some chicken and we will have a green salad and corn-on-the-cob...It is a beautiful Fall day!

I'm glad that your husband's recovery is coming along and your husband's impatience at times is very understandable; however, it is very important that he makes sure that he does his at home exercises as well, along with his physical therapy and he should do quite well in time...He is very fortunate to have you and we all do understand how difficult it can be for the caregiver also.

Enjoy the rest of your well-deserved lazy weekend sweet SouthernBee and how about fixing yourself a good "Southern Comfort Drink"....very therapeutic, of course...lol

Ours look pretty good here.  Some have a lot of tight buds and then others look wilted.  I'll try to find one somewhere in between.  

@Bri369 @geezerette ...Ours are looking good also...We just picked some up this past Wednesday and planted some when we got home and finished on Thursday...I prefer ones that have more of a tight bud on them rather than those that are already opening, as they last longer...They have started opening up  a little just within the past few days since we planted them.. I love the ones that have been pollinated with a couple of different colors...beautiful colors.

I love the Fall weather...everything feels so fresh and the air is so rejuvenating.

@cowboy sam : My Walmart shipping orders are normally delivered by Fed Ex and delivered earlier in the day like my UPS normally around 7:30 p.m. Suppose to be delivered Monday if not passed over to the Post Office and that will be Tuesday.
