Good afternoon Y'all: Long day.Much cooler today 81. Early doctor appointment for DH. Told to take the sling off and use hand and arm more. Given a special glove to wear to reduce the hand swelling. Told pain will continue for three more months but continue PT at office and home- stressed very important for improvement to reduce swelling and pain. Only given 15 more pain tablets and told to continue Tylenol.
Made trip to Publix for items not available at WalMart. Took advantage of the specials and ended up spending $98. But loved being in another store besides WalMart. Then we went to eat at our favorite seafood place and of course SIL was driving. DH can drive when he finishes the pain medicine.
Cable tech came today and I posted the results in the electronics forum.
I need to go back and read your latest post. Enjoy your weekend.🤗♥️

How about buying some chicken??...
whole or parts of so many dishes you can make with chicken in it....my fav..chicken salad sanwiches with grapes in it or without!
Fried chicken,chicken n dumplings,soup,
baked chicken,,dressing,mashed taters,cranberry sauce,etc.
chicken and noodles.
smoked or turkey legs, slow cooked, dressing, etc
Did i help ya with ideas?
lubs ya!
@cowboy sam : Great suggestions but : He doesn't eat chicken salad. I don't fry chicken at home. Only baked bbq chicken. He doesn't like chicken and dumplings but will eat chicken and rice but not often. If I bake a chicken or small turkey breast it must include everything cooked for Thanksgiving- the dressing, the sweet potato casserole, the cranberry salad and cranberry sauce, Mac n cheese, collards, and pumpkin pie- seriously for just the two of us. But he would love to have this once every month.

@Yahooey : Sorry . I splurged and enjoyed the fried catfish filets with french fries, cole slaw, small slice of onion. I gave the hush puppies
to DH. I don't like tarter sauce but use a lot of ketchup. We split order of shrimp cocktail and I put mine on saltine crackers with cocktail sauce. Yum but had to take heartburn pill later.

@Yahooey : Last night turned the tv on in the den to watch the Braves baseball game and the picture was in slow motion and same on all the channels. We checked the two other tvs and everything normal. That tv is 11 years old and DH replied: add tv shopping to the schedule in the morning. I called the cable company and 30 minutes later after several reboots everything ok except my back. Of course still dealing with back problems but had to reach down to the floor for the surge protector to unplug the tv and cable box. The surge protector is in a tight small space between a bookcase and the entertainment center but me 🤔 thinking: need to research this and find something higher to put the surge protector on. Of course : all of the cords are to short to put on top of the bookcase or entertainment center because that would be an easy and quick solution. Always something. I was working on another project before the tv issue. I have a one inch 3 ring binder and was looking for notebook paper and section divider tabs. Why: because my stack of index cards with user ids and passwords and small note pad needs a better system. Mercy- just thinking about making sure everything is correct and working then try to alphabetize everything but desperately needed because can't remember anything and very tired of dropping the note pad and index cards.🤗♥️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️🥓🥓🥓🥓🥓🥓🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🧇🧇🧇🥞🥞🥞🥤🥤🥤🥤

@Yahooey : Found a tall slender cabinet that would fit in my space and move the surge protector up 20 inches plus extra storage space and under $30.
From WalMart.
