Good Morning!

No one prepares you for all the dinners you need to worry about.  It should be a required high school class.  LOL

Hi Y'all: DH just gave me this: 39127D00-648B-4E46-AC5C-853C7BA41F78.jpeg

I will take all the help that I can get. Yep... me been praying. More later. Got to take shower and get dressed.

So many of the recipes are what I cook. DH said he found this book on line when he was looking for a recipe for traditional southern bbq pulled pork sandwiches and the picture looked so much better than mine🤷‍♀️😳. He has no idea about my recipe but very similar to the one in the book. If I cook the pulled pork: his reply good but I prefer the bbq ribs. Planning meals are not easy and especially for someone that doesn't cook but is very picky.

@SouthernBee , oh, boy! Your DH sounds just like my father in law! I finally told him " just eat it. It's good for you!" 😝

the winds are really whipping

18MPH but sunny and temps dropped overnight

it is currently 52 - too fast too soon

i still go tthe big maters on the vine

but i pulled all the cherries out - they dont taste good anymore

eggplants are on the vine and they need warmer temps to at least mature- grrr

chili was great last night and of course i got leftovers in freezer - 2 quarts

when i was a kid - u ate what was givien and believe me - i ate some weird stuff

brain, gizzards, liver - stuff like that

i understand if u dont care for a particular food but ultra pickiness....

my SIL at one time had to cook separate meals for the family

niece didnt eat red meat - seafood was ok - a pescatarian

nephew - I dont cook anything with him in mind - i have made non meat soemthing for my niece that we all can enjoy -

but my nephew - doesnt like anything and said if he can live without food and take a pill - he would be okay with that - why would you go out of your way then, i dont

he doesnt eat mashed poatatoes, fried chicken or any kind of chicken except chicken tenders, pork, meatbalsl are a NO but ground meat in sauce with pasta is okay - wth - so easy NO for me

for the longet time - oh, he is a child, give him what he wants, teens - his palate is still developing - so pizza,  pasta and burgers - what he is now-  a grown @$$ adult that eats like a toddler -

It's 52 degrees out right now.  Ahh, so nice and cool finally.  It's probably time to clean up the front porch and put some mums out.

No picky eaters here.  Youngest daughter isn't really fan of meat, but we work around it.  She will very rarely eat leftovers either for some reason.  I won't make separate dinners.  If I know she won't be home for dinner, that's when I plan a meal that I know she isn't crazy about.
