Hi Y'all: My current struggles. Well: SIL told DH that she finally has an appointment on Sunday to have all her teeth pulled and she will not be available next week. I have never heard of dental appointments on Sunday unless it was an extreme emergency 😳.🤷‍♀️.Busy all day trying to plan meals and make delivery order for tomorrow. I dearly love DH but he is difficult to cook for and doesn't like leftovers except the leftovers from Thanksgiving. Not sure if the doctor appointment on Friday- if the doctor will release him and let him drive. He has another friend to take him to eat on Tuesday and Wednesday. Everything that I suggested for meals- nope. The last two Sunday's per his request made meatloaf. 😡 grr. Another problem- his image of food: If everything cooked isn't in big pots - like 5 quarts: I haven't cooked enough but just us and he doesn't like leftovers. We had soup and chili last week. DH just asked if I was finished with the grocery list- I asked for - meal suggestions. Y'all have any idea what he said? " Meatloaf " = me nope. Him : why ask me anything. Next week will be very difficult.

It's our last day in the 80s.  We'll be cooling off a bit.  Hopefully, I can finally turn the AC off.

In my emails today..

one from online pharmacy that they recieved my rx and i now have 3 more refills on my thyroid script left..but need to see if they also shipped it today

A  email from my ccard that it had a charge from pharmacy

uh..neighbor and i went for a walk after 8pm last night  on way back noticed sign on hardware store that is was" 87 degrees out" and we were half way home!

Its.. Wedsnday ..

and   lawn guy will be here later to mow yard!

Oh boy.  He likes to see you cook in big pots or he doesn't like to see the big pots?

I feel for you.  It's a lot of working trying to come up with meals ideas.

@Bri369 : If he doesn't see big pots totally filled up cooking on the stove = not enough prepared to eat. Told him zillion times- the kitchen is my zone unless you prefer to do the cooking- nope he has better things to do.

@Bri369 : I can suggest ordering pizza and nope. But if I go to the trouble to cook something and he doesn't want it- guess who orders the pizza. He doesn't like for me to put meals in the frezzer to serve later except for soup, chili or his spaghetti sauce.
