That is so early. ![]()
Lasagna was actually good. Boyfriends went back for seconds. That's a good sign.

Hi Lovelies!
Thought I would check in to give some good news on my front. I don’t think I have posted since I contracted bronchitis in early June.
Some of you may remember that my DD’s FIL contracted COVID right before he was finally talked into getting his shot.
He was hospitalized and unfortunately damaged his lungs and is on oxygen 24/7.
The good news is that he found an excellent cardiologist who was ready to take him on. After he suffered a heart attack, it was tough. He had two stents put in last week and is doing fine. Our hope is that this will help him. No cure, but something positive to give him hope.
For me, it has been a journey, Sometimes a routine test indicates a potential problem you might not imagine. I was blessed to have a specialist take my hand and see me through. I am fine, have a new cardiologist, and feeling positive about the future.
Per usual, this is not a funny post. I am only funny in person and lack the gifts of humor you Lovelies have! It’s a gift I lack.
Best wishes to all.
Pam

@cowboy sam, I am so happy that Curt is doing so well. I can’t imagine the stress of your child dealing with such serious issues. How great are happy endings!

I am so happy to hear that you're doing well. Good news with your DD's FIL. It's so important to have a trusted and caring doctor.
How are your grandkids doing? I imagine they're back to school by now.

@Yahooey ...Do you mean besides the bobcats, coyotes, tigers, lions, elephants and the occasional monkeys swinging from our trees. 😂
Well, we have the usual habitat of birds, woodpeckers, squirrels, chipmunks, rabbits, possums, foxes and also the nocturnal creatures that roam our yard and tree line area at night...We also have been serenaded by the hooting of an owl...I love owls!
We do live in a well populated area...not nestled in woods or anything like that...However, some of the lovely, open, natural areas around us where wildlife once lived have been scooped up by builders, so we gradually find ourselves sharing more with natural wildlife...to be expected...It just can be one hell of a shock at times! 😲
@MyShadowLove , nearby from us, I just learned.....wild bores. This farm I like to visit their whole corn crop was eaten by bears. Now I understand why people out here have dogs that they just let roam. Unfortunately, their dog recently passed and they were looking to get another dog when the bears took out their corn crop. Then there's the usual other wildlife...coyotes, bobcats, raccoons 🦝, etc.

I forgot to mention that the otter's have visited our dock a few times over the last couple of weeks. They were cute and all UNTIL they defecated on our dock. 🤢

Wonder how @SouthernBee is doing with her new vaccuum. It's probably zipping along!
