@Yahooey

They did use olive oil.  I thought it would be weird too, but there are cakes made with oilive oil and they taste delicious.

The lasagna is looking good so far.  What it tastes like is another story.  lol

@Yahooey

I would love for y'all to come over.  We can just go to @loveschocolate's place on the lake.

I hope @cowboy sam isn't having a gully washer.

We had woodpeckers "drilling" giant holes in my cedar siding.  I didn't realize what they were at first.  They sound like a jackhammer.  They were so loud and they would be pecking all day long.

We have a lot of coyotes around here.  I guess they have no where else to go anymore.  They do scare me though.

@Bri369 ...So what did you do to solve the woodpecker problem?

We had a couple of coyotes roaming around our neighborhood about 5 or 6 years ago...We all assumed that they had a den up at the end of the treeline area where it is more heavily wooded.

One morning, my next door neighbor called to tell me that there was a sickly coyote laying on her patio at the bottom of her back stairs...I told her to call Animal Control right away...By the time they came out, the coyote had died and it turns out that it was rabid.

We haven't had a coyote sighting for the past few years now...It seems the bobcats have taken their place.

First, we had all the holes fixed, which helped.  Then we told our pest control people about the problem and they said they're drawn to certain bugs, so he started treating that issue.  We hung a lot of shiny things in the trees near the house too, which helped.  It took over a year to finally get rid of them.  Some of the holes were about the size of a grapefruit.  I was scared other critters were going to start coming in.

I would have stayed still and speechless also watching a momma bobcat and her 2 cubs...i would have only been concerened if i had a cat or small dog.

I know that @Yahooey   would be upset...but i don't  so i would just stand back in awe being able see them...ty for sharing with usHeart

lubs ya!Heart

@cowboy sam ...They are a gorgeous animal and such a precious sight and, yes, we were definitely in awe also...mixed with some shock and concern. lol

I also want to mention that I saw your post with the update regarding your son and I am so happy for  you and your family...May he continue to respond well to treatment.

Stay safe during the thunderstorms...We had a couple of whoppers roll through here a couple of days ago with some much needed rain...They were quite strong though with our trees swaying and heavy downpours...Everything turned out okay, just some cleanup of branches, twigs, etc.

(((((Hugs)))))
