what other cirtters do u have and have seen

i always wants to know ❤️ and @cowboy sam too

@Yahooey ...Do you mean besides the bobcats, coyotes, tigers, lions, elephants and the occasional monkeys swinging from our trees. 😂

Well, we have the usual habitat of birds, woodpeckers, squirrels, chipmunks, rabbits, possums, foxes and also the nocturnal creatures that roam our yard and tree line area at night...We also have been serenaded by the hooting of an owl...I love owls!

We do live in a well populated area...not nestled in woods or anything like that...However, some of the lovely, open, natural areas around us where wildlife once lived have been scooped up by builders, so we gradually find ourselves sharing more  with natural wildlife...to be expected...It just can be one hell of a shock at times!  😲

@Bri369 @Yahooey ...We both literally froze in place and I could barely breathe while, afterwards, my husband tried to act all casual and macho about it... lol

I would have stayed still and speechless also watching a momma bobcat and her 2 cubs...i would have only been concerened if i had a cat or small dog.

I know that @Yahooey   would be upset...but i don't  so i would just stand back in awe being able see them...ty for sharing with usHeart

@cowboy sam ...They are a gorgeous animal and such a precious sight and, yes, we were definitely in awe also...mixed with some shock and concern. lol

I also want to mention that I saw your post with the update regarding your son and I am so happy for  you and your family...May he continue to respond well to treatment.

Stay safe during the thunderstorms...We had a couple of whoppers roll through here a couple of days ago with some much needed rain...They were quite strong though with our trees swaying and heavy downpours...Everything turned out okay, just some cleanup of branches, twigs, etc.

@SouthernBee ...Thinking of you and hoping that all is going well with your husband's recovery and that you are able to take some time for yourself with the help and support of others. Heart

@cowboy sam

No rain in sight here.  It's very hot though - about 87 degrees.

And what do I decide to make for dinner tonight?  Lasagna.  I think I've made lasagna twice - once was too soupy and once was too dry.  Maybe third time's a charm.  LOL

We had woodpeckers "drilling" giant holes in my cedar siding.  I didn't realize what they were at first.  They sound like a jackhammer.  They were so loud and they would be pecking all day long.

We have a lot of coyotes around here.  I guess they have no where else to go anymore.  They do scare me though.

I thought of you today when I saw someone on TV making a dried fruit foccicia.  They were using apricots and cherries.  I've never seen anything like it.  I bet it tastes delicious.

@Bri369

that is interesting - a soft bread sweet dough

mine has all the olive oil - which would be weird

but then - now everything can be explained as

Fusion

Artisanal

Free form organic

use any of the above should ur lasagna is.... but i'm sure 3rd time is the charm
