niece and her bf came over for a visit

i forwarn her about my disappointment of the gazpacho

it was a day of maters

of course there were 2 trays of focaccia 

1 with salt, thyme and chives (brother and nephew likes more plain stuff)

the other had art - olives, tomatoes, onions, chives and seasoning

my brother will forgo nightshade veg due to allergies unless it is pizza

they both had taste test of a few spoonfuls of gazpacho and both said it was good and they liked it

next up was the cold tomato soup 

YOWSA! claimed both - gazpacho was good but tomato soup was much better

cupfuls of the tomato soup was had with focaccia and the gazpacho will go home with them...

sungold tomatoes is the key - so sweet and so diff than a reg tomato

we played cards - ate dinner and dessert

store bought berry mousse tart (i took home a slice)

ice cream and pinapple sorbet

they took home bounty from the farm - she went after the sungolds

her balcony plant only produce a handful and not ripe yet

she had to load her stuff into a cooler for the ride home

she went home with

1 qt of the tomato soup (i brought 2 qts over)

1 qt of the gazpacho

2 contianers of the art focaccia 

1 container of Tillanook Cawfee Almond Fudge ice cream

(i lubs it but their supermarket does not carry that brand and thought they would enjoy - both cawfee drinkers)

and 3 qt containers of take-out dinner leftovers

between mater lunch and dinner - we played cards

it was a fun day ❤️❤️❤️ - she is a good kid

got me a bottle of Essie periwinkle coloring since she bought a bottle for herself

Good Morning Y'all: I have been very busy. DH had stitches removed on Friday and then had to do PT and they helped him with the chair exercises. He has to do PT at home 3 times a day and he needs my help. This week he starts PT at the hospital twice a week. Sister will drive him and take him out to eat. Will be awhile before he can drive and they stressed he needs to be off pain medication before he can drive. They gave us photos of the surgery-yuck. They had to put one anchor in his shoulder for support. My day is busy helping him shower, dress, do PT and then prepare the ice machine for him to use. The ice maker in my freezer isn't producing much ice. BIL cleaned the ice machine out but not much better. I will call someone to have that checked. Plus the bipap hose is leaking and in the process of trying to find a better durable medical supply company because the last two mask and hose hasn't lasted very long. I have been awake since 3 a.m. with the bipap machine making so much noise and DH snoring. Let the fun begin.🤗♥️🙏🥓🤗🤗🤗🤗☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️🥤🥤🥓

You had an exciting day yesterday.  Of course they loved the tomato soup and foccacia.  It's delicious!  

Your niece went home with the motherload of leftovers

You are so busy, so many things to do taking care of DH.  I hope you've been able to get some rest too.

How long will your DH have to go to the hospital for PT?  I hope they can send out a better ice machine.  If the swelling does down, that should help with the pain.
