@Bri369 : Just to the hospital for use after surgery and trip home. Use at home reduces pain and swelling. This is not exactly like the one DH has. This pad is wrapped around the shoulder and under the sling that he wears. Machine pumps cold to the special pad. No direct contact on skin and no leaks or drips from the old fashioned ice packs. This is a special therapy product prescribed by the doctor.. Plus since it is plugged in has a humming sound that I hear all night with the sounds of the bipap machine and the fan that DH runs on high sitting next to his recliner.

@Yahooey : Thank you. No one available tomorrow. We will  eat the left over soup and I will make grill cheese sandwiches. We have help for Thursday and Friday.

The pjs that I ordered for DH from Amazon was delivered to our town on Saturday with later statements out for delivery on Sunday. A post office truck was in front of our mailbox later with no delivery made. Later on the Amazon tracking info: statement by post office: issues with delivery. Today info: package running late and could be delivered today or tomorrow 🤷‍♀️- what!???

@Bri369 : Package just delivered and put in mail box. Not telling DH cause don't want him walking down the driveway and risk falling. Will see if neighbor can get it tomorrow. Neighbor works at night.

@Bri369 : Thank you. DH still sleeping and slept all night. I got a little sleep but the bipap machine is loud and the humming sound from the ice chest. I need to get up and do a lot of stuff but if I move it will wake him up. He definitely needed a good nights sleep and no pain. He is requesting the pain medication every 3 hours and they stressed 4 to 6. The pain RX can't be refilled and probably will not prescribe more and suggest something over the counter.

mid 80s today and finally the heat broke

it seemed like 100 degrees yesterday - 

didnt let zoe out except early morning 6-7am and around 7pm so she was not happy being indoors - the bugger hangs out in this heat - NOOOOO!

i made my quota of 5 lbs of tomatoes - 

after the heat - everything ripen FAST - picked over 3 pounds today and currently roasting them for sauce and then a little of the cold tomato soup

some i will give away and will need 2 lbs for sunday pazanella which i will prep friday - lots of ripening will happen between today and friday  - 

it takes forever and a day for the first to ripen and now u can't pick fast enough

someone gave me a bounty of small white eggplant - he got it from 4 plants

hey - i got 4 plants and i have a flower - but i think i see eggplant -

Can you give him Tylenol in between 2 doses of pain meds?  When my daughter had her wisdom teeth out a few weeks ago, that's what the pharmacist told me to do.  Every 3 hours she was getting the pain med or the Tylenol so nothing had a chance to wear off. 

Please speak to your doctor first about managing his pain.  I'm sure they can tell you the best way to handle that.

The temps here are very pleasant finally.  The humidity broke, and it's in the mid 60s.  I call it back to school weather.  lol

I've never seen a white eggplant.  I love eggplant!  You wound up with a lot of tomatoes.  Take a pic of your panzarella salad please.
