Hi @SouthernBee ...You must be exhausted with all that you are going through with your dishwasher...You have tried just about everything...Wasn't the service guy able to determine where the smell is coming from?

I was going to suggest just getting a new one, as sales will be going on throughout this week?...Is that an option...dollars, I know, but you may be able to work out a good deal  with a very understanding and kind-mannered sales person? 😃

@MyShadowLove : I wasn't thinking correctly or fast enough and left the water standing too long. He suggested doing several cleaning. He cleaned the inside and bottom of the dishwasher.I was relieved that the water didn't leek under the dishwasher and damage the floor and cabinet.

SIL gave me two of the cascade dishwasher pods this morning and now trying this in the dishwasher. She said they leave a clean fresh scent. I was using the Finish dishwasher pods and wasn't a strong scent. My WalMart order will be delivered today and I ordered the Cascade dishwasher cleaner. Praying this will solve the problem. I will then be proactive and leave the dishwasher open whenever I use it to let it dry and use the cleaner on a monthly basis.

I  am thankful and able to afford new dishwasher but dreading trying to decide what to purchase and considering something isn't available and needs to be ordered. We have a very good locally owned appliance store and every dishwasher listed on their website site: very low stock and normally need to order.

@Yahooey : I leave my washing machine door opening since it is stainless steel and let it air dry.

Yes- something useful and the cascade definitely smells better but still small odor lingers.

So we purchased 6 tomato and 6 jalapeño pepper plants for BIL to plant in his garden. Received this yesterday:

She didn't indicate anything except that the garden is beautiful and growing? 🤷‍♀️

When we lived on the Eastern-shore an oyster man friend,

Took us out in the channel between Chincoteague and Assatogue.

He took out his tongs and lifted some oysters right out of the bay, flipped one open with his knife, said to me - here try this - holding it between his thumb and knife, he dropped it into my mouth.

Never had I had Oyster, never will I again.  Can assure you that sucker was alive!  I almost died trying to swallow it; I was WAY too polite and shy to say anything.

At that time the bay was so clean you could safely eat right out of it.

HAPPY JULY FOURTH TO ALL!

6 tomato plants can yield a lot of tomatoes under the right conditions

some of mine have clusters with a beast of a stalk

some not so much and scrawny with flowers beginning to open

guess it depends on what type of tomato also

and whether there is a Zoe on the offense and swipes it just bc

once they start ripening it is a lot
