@SouthernBee ...Yes, the interesting part is that we are having it this time of year...lol...How come you have never tried Lamb?

@MyShadowLove : My mother and BigMama never cooked it. I guess me not adventurous in preparing meals. I have tasted snails- forgot the fancy name, squirrel and frog legs and didn't like them-yuck.😳😄😄😄

@SouthernBee ...You are more adventurous" than you realize...The fancy name for snails is escargots...I have never had them nor the squirrel or frog legs...My husband loves raw oysters...ugh...I refuse to eat them and, from what I understand, the raw oysters are actually still alive..Cat Surprised

@MyShadowLove : When ever I went with my brother to eat seafood- he always order a dozen of raw oysters and insisted that I eat one on a saltine cracker with a lot of cocktail sauce. Of course he enjoyed watching me and my various facial expressions. 🤷‍♀️😳😁

My Dad loved to grill lamb chops. Every time they were charcoal black on the outside and raw inside. 🤣 Poor man couldn't grill to save his life.

@Mj12 ...LOL...So how would he finish cooking them so that the inside would be cooked properly without the outside being even further "charcoal blackened" and to make sure that they would be edible?

                   😂

i have never cooked lamb either but have enjoyed it in restaurants

same for seafood - beside a fillet of some kind of fish - i never cook it

wait - i have cooked lobster - a relative brought some over when he visited from ME

i just open the head - rainsed and dropped into boiling waer - ala Diane Keaton in Annie Hall - that is the only thing i remembered from the movie

lubs raw oysters and clams - not really alive since they slice the critter from the shell and placing it back on the shell - otherwise u are gnawing it - unless that is what they did

ried clams / oysters - yes pls

escargots in butter - heck yes

not a fan of mussels

never been to Maine -would love to visit bet it is purdy

now i'm hungry
