Have you heard there is a crab shortage this year?

I'm not much on "picking" but do love a good crabcake.  I normally make my own as they are very expensive out and never up to the description.

why do u harvest them green and ripen at home as opposed to ripening on the vine

@Yahooey  I normally don't pick them this early. But I noticed something (a rabbit?) was snacking on some lower ones. So I wanted to get something before they ate everything. Have to put up some fencing around the garden.

@cowboy sam  just whatever smaller gauge rabbit fencing I find at Lowes.  The tomatoes I picked will probably ripen in a week or so. If they don't,  I'll buy red ones at the store and take another picture voila! Done. 🤣

Good afternoon y'all: What a long day. The appliance repairman arrived at 3 . We have known him for years and he is very dependable and honest. He has never seen a dishwasher installed like mine. It is across the room from the kitchen sink. Black wires and copper tubes run from the side of the dishwasher thru the inside back of the kitchen cabinets under the wall oven thru more cabinets then to the sink. He really had trouble pulling the dishwasher out. He checked several things and concluded the p trap under the sink was clogged. He said he would try to unclog it before I call a plumber. I was embarrassed that he had to pull so much stuff out of my cabinets and under my sink( note to self: next project - declutter, clean out bottom kitchen cabinets). Nothing wrong with the dishwasher.🤷‍♀️😳He reinstalled the dishwasher and it looks better. He didn't leave till 5. I kept him supplied with something cold to drink. He wanted to put everything back in the cabinets and I told him thanks but I will do it later. The bill was very reasonable and we gave him a $40 tip. He is 70 years old and doesn't look it and physically fit. He had this stool :

He said the best purchase for his work and he owns his own appliance business. Oh what a relief . I will set the dishwasher for a complete cycle to get it clean and smelling better.🤗♥️
