Oh, one more thing.  

I asked her what number she was dialing when she called me because my phone never rang.  She told me she was calling my "house phone."  I said we haven't had a house phone in over 8 years.  She went into her contacts and asked me if this was my number.  I said it was our old phone number from when we had out landline over 8 years ago.

It's just exhausting dealing with them.  They make everything so much harder than it needs to be. 

She gives in to everything that he says, even though she knows it's the wrong thing to do.  She's just so worried about pleasing him and not causing him any distress.  Then she asks me why he listens to me and not her.

I feel terrible complaining about this because she does so much for him because she lives with him.  It's very stressful dealing with someone his age who has a lot of health problems.  I know nothing will change.  She did the same thing with my mom

Good Morning Y'all: Enjoyed a day trip yesterday with friends. One of our older friends requested a visit because she was lonely. The drive was about 30 minutes. One friend baked chocolate cupcakes and I baked : this was super easy because just mix with spoon and bake. It was the perfect size and very good. About 3 slices left and we wrapped in foil and put in friends freezer. Another friend has been sewing lap quilts:

We all signed a card and had a nice gift bag. I had a set of monogrammed  "B" white bathroom towels with the gold monogrammed letter that was a gift from Rebath ( I told friend this) but we laughed and she still appreciated them because her bathroom was recently remodeled for a walk in shower.

Later returning to town we enjoyed a late lunch at our favorite Chinese restaurant. We were ready to eat and enjoy some hot tea because it was a very rainy day and friends got wet helping me with my walker. I splurged and ordered the orange chicken and shared order of crab Rangoon. Friends returned to my house to watch a movie. They noticed the changes in the coffee bar and tv area and asked when and how everything was done. It was a long day with a lot of fun and giggles. Today being very slow and lazy.🤗🤗♥️♥️♥️🙏🙏🙏🥤🥤☕️☕️☕️

@Bri369 : Totally understand and agree. Will be praying especially for you for the strength and energy to deal with everything. It is very hard dealing with an elderly parent because the roles need to be reversed and the adult child must take over and do whatever is necessary.🤗🤗♥️♥️♥️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

I pray that your father will feel better now and they don't rush too soon to send him home too soon.

Please let all your pent up anger for pancake sister   go so that your stress can be let go...i feel so bad for you. I hope she has learnesd something now not to keep important health issures your dad might have  from you   in the future!!!

i have learned the more you deny yourself a favorite food and then decide it eat it..well i would over eat it also..lol😀🤗  like ice cream!
