@cowboy sam

It's  so beautiful out.  I opened the windows and shut the air off.   The sun is shining and all the trees have leaves.  Yay!

Thanks for the update on Curt.  Did he get released from the neurologist yet?

Hello everyone. Really been busy. Visit with friends on Friday very interesting. I enjoyed watching them work with the photo frames. Some were the table top style and needed hanging hooks put on the back of the frames. The widow had previously told me that she knew how to convert the frames for hanging and she said that she never told me anything like that. 🤷‍♀️Put everything in frames and arranged them on the kitchen counter to determine what I wanted. Widow friend  while hanging them on the wall changed the arrangements. She also didn't wait for  me to get a pencil and used a pen instead. Plus at the time didn't  notice she didn't prepare two frames for hanging and decided to experiment with using a glue gun to glue them to the wall. Well a couple of hours after they left - one of the frames crashed on the floor and really scared and upset DH. Wall, floor and frame not damaged. I then notice   on the wall two ink pin marks that she couldn't erase when she decided to hang two frames lower. Please understand that I appreciated the help because I am not crafty with things but disappointed in the work. Plus while she was working she made about 20 comments that I was picky and a perfectionist.... well my home and what I want. While she was preparing one of the frames  -when she was cutting the black mat board - some of the paper shavings were on front of the photo. When she saw me taking the photo out and wiping it off she replied: "very old photos has markings on them that can't be removed. " I didn't say anything and just put everything back together.

Then again about two hours later another frame crashed to the floor . It had glue on the back but didn't damage anything. Noticed that the two frames still had the table top stand on the back and this made them heavy and more difficult to hang.
I ordered more smaller frames from Amazon and suppose to be delivered tomorrow.

Then I started researching how to convert and hang photo frames. Y'all probably already know all of this information but I have never been good at stuff like this.

So early Saturday morning started experimenting with the two frames. I easily popped the frame stand off with a flathead screwdriver. I then decided to recycle the stand part to use as filler inside the back of the frames to keep the photos from sliding around. Plus the inside of the frames were deep and no extra cardboard to cut and use.

Then I noticed the top back part of the frame was wood and not plastic like the widow had previously mentioned. I found two of the sawtooth hangers and nails and attached them to the frame and then put everything together.

At first contacted the other friend that helped with text and sent her photos of every step that I had done to complete the process. She apologized and said the other friend had a lot of other stuff to do on Friday. Interesting because when I extend the invitation for Friday: Stated can you come Friday if you are available and don't have anything else planned and she stated her schedule was free. I later sent her a text with everything. Her reply: "She was relieved that I was proactive and decided to experiment and do something." 😳🤷‍♀️. Ashamed to admit that I am slow and took two hours. I took extra steps and taped the hangers in place and made marking for centered placement . The frames have been hanging on the wall for several hours. One of the photos  had a big white border and I didn't want to try to cut it. Using a ruler and pencil still can't cut a straight line. But I cut some strips from the mat board. Was not straight or perfect but made the photo look so much better in the frame. So I tried doing something very different today.

I turned my ceiling fan on 3 days ago and wrapped pull chain on screw for my light  fixture  and its still running!

But after one nite or 2 being hot..i checked and fan was blowing hot air from celing down on me!   SighSmiley Frustrated

So i had to shut fan off and flip the switch on it  and now having cool air om my bed!

So..need to have repair man to check or replace it now.  oops i omited  that i "don't " need repairman!

@SouthernBee

SMH at the comments your friend made to you  prehaps when you need help in the future don't  invite her.

Please don't feel guilty  if you don't include her as you don't need her negative comments.

I wouldn't give up on my ceiling fan in bedroom,or let that tree  grow in peonies so befor dark last night i cut most of it off..   Plus i cut 4 smaller ones or more  out of peonie shrub.

plus   I wrestled with some dead trees   branches in another part of my yard!

A couple were 2 thick for my branch trimmers  and couldn't cut them but i tried.

Today i'm stiff and sore..but   i didn't want to ask for help and wanted myself to try.

My neighbor who works on my old riding mower  got it started yesterday  but  no longer can some parts for it..it must be 30 years or older as my dh bought it new before he died.

After it quits running..i must decide to either replace it or hire someone else to mow for me?...as neighbor lady who mows for me . has had to use..her riding mower  to mow my yard   hers is also going bad.
