made myself a hardy breakfast - i never do dat ever

had leftover corned beef and mashed - check

had some cinnamon raisin bread in cupboard - check

so....

corned beef hash w a lil onion

2 slices of cinnamon raison french toast

and 2 scrambled eggs - that's a lot

ate it around 11ish - mind u - i've been up early so i was hungry

then i felt guilty - that was a lot of fudz

went to the yard to work off some calories

turned over the soil - added a bag of tiop soil + coffee grounds 

(i got a huge bucket from a cafe whom ii share my veggies with - big and i mean BIG like a giant canister of paint or cement)

said hello to my little teeny red stems from peonies

there were a few stragglers of crocuses - and the tulip buds are coming up

yes - the leaves are mangled and only a few 

most were massacre as u well know

the daffies are there bc the critters no like dem

then I was all sweaty - took shower and drinking some wine with lemon cake

i dont drink - i mean i dont DRINK  wine - i may do cocktails at business lunches back in the day - love me a mojito on vacation ... stuff like that

but a friend showed me a pretty wine bottle - it was stunning 

i actually went and bought a bottle of wine bc of the bottle 

i opened it and share w/family this weekend - and took the rest home

i really like this wine - perhaps i just never had the right one

i think i like light, crisp and not sweet - not too overwhelming like red bc i bought a bottle when i christened my cast iron with Julia's  Beef Bourgugnon and the whole bottle of french red was not something i care for at all - and that was including the stew

sorry... so chatty - must be the wine

I want to pass this along to you.  One of my cousins is a reputable contractor,  when we had the bidding on total inside repainting of our > 3000 SF home, I asked him to look it over.  

His response, have him re-price using Lowe's paint.  He said many contractors use SW because SW gives them a large discount on other items as long as they have a running account with them.

We did, it was > $600 less.  You know I am picky, I admit it, it looks great - except family room where I let DH have his wish for gray.  I don't like it, but biting my tongue. You know how that is.

If i was to buy a bottle of wine like that i would pour the wine down the sink  or give it to neighbor "but" only if i get the bottle back!!
