@Yahooey : Thank you. I was concerned about my bbq sauce. I mix up several different bbq sauces but start with Foy's medium that is a mustard base sauce but could not find it at Publix . I started with two tablespoons of melted butter, I had a 2 ounce container of Texas Roadhouse honey mustard salad dressing, added Sweet Baby Ray's hickory and brown sugar. Then remembered that I had the Sweet Baby Rays honey mustard dipping sauce.DH said it was delicious.

The kitchen was so hot. Had trouble trying to make the banana splits with everything trying to melt. DH when he saw them exclaimed: Wow :this is awesome. He said that the banana splits were a total suprise. 🤷‍♀️😳The deep fryer kept cutting off on me and had to do the reset button. Told DH to fix a plate and go ahead and eat while still hot. I had to stay in the kitchen to watch the fryer. But we were able to eat the banana splits together in the den.

I am still considering an air fryer because the deep fryer is a big mess to clean up.

@cowboy sam : So thoughtful to suprise Curt with the card and money. Family can be wonderful but also frustrating. Some things for our own sanity just need to let go.

We were suprised with big gift baskets filled with wonderful assortment of candies and cookies from DH sister. They were the good stuff like Hershey's , Dove, M &M 's. One was a beautiful aqua color and hoped it was mine but nope. The tan one was for me. The price tag was left on mine $12.99- was that done on purpose?🤷‍♀️😳

I emptied my basket and had a plastic grocery bag filled with stuff. I told DH to give it to SIL because she might need another one for next weekend. DH said he didn't care about keeping his basket. DH gave them to her today at lunch and she was very happy to take them. My basket was very heavy because it was also filled with the snack size sugar free jello, pudding, diced peaches and pears.
