@SouthernBee, Good you are feeling better!  Your SIL is a beaut!  Maybe say you no longer will eat platter if brought home for you.  If she wants to bring you something, stop in a supermarket and buy a single flower for you instead.  No more big plates of food.

Sometimes those low cal frozen dinners are a blessing.  DH lost weight this past year.  Sadly, I did not.  So often I make myself a big salad, with some protein, and low cal dressing.  

My my doctor told me to make changes to my diet very gradually, so it would work.  Also, wants me to walk every day.

Glad when the weather will change here.  Tomorrow more bad weather.

Lowes was boring. I had to look at new dryers. Too many decisions. I'll let my husband go pick one this weekend. If Lowes had a coffee bar I'd like it much better.

I didn't make it to Kohls..weather was starting to get cold, rain,turning to snow!

Uh,i glad we didn't go as today is starting 30%off for a few days but i have misplaced my card from them!

As a builder, my husband just about lives in Lowe's and Home Depot

He laments the lack of knowledgeable help.  Now and then I will go with him, but it is just confusing to me, so I rarely go in.

I agree, those places need a coffee bar for those of us that just need to relax

I'd be happy with a beverage cart at Lowe's and Home Depot.  

Honestly, every time we go to Home Depot, my husband has to get a hot dog.  They have a little hot dog stand at the exit.  He says there's something about a Home Depot hot dog he can't resist.  LOL
