DH helped me with the yahoo account. Friends emails were in the spam folder and we selected all and indicated not spam.

I didn't do anything to block friends emails and she will not believe me.

I will call her and tell her to please send email. I appreciate y'all taking extra time and trouble to help me.🤗♥️♥️♥️Stay safe.

@Yahooey : Thank you. Yep. My DH agreed that had to be something in her dot suffix that yahoo did not like.

Ok this is what I do: I use the mail icon ( or what ever it is called) on my IPad home page to check my emails and send emails.

That set up doesn't have the spam folder but one for junk.

Plus - her emails were not in the junk folder.Then when I signed into my email account = this one has a junk and spam folder and it had over 1, 599 spam emails🤷‍♀️😳.

The last time that I signed into the yahoo account was last August when I received my Samsung smart phone. Yes , DH said that I needed to sign in more often.So it's still Monday.

@SouthernBee

Yahoo using 2 folders -- a spam and a junk folder -- on the website mail and not displaying them on your iPad is very odd and clearly can cause confusion.

Sent us off in the wrong direction, since it appeared (on the iPad app) that the mail wasn't being diverted into Junk/Spam.

I have an old att.net account managed by Yahoo, and I seldom used it because it was notorious for technical problems...

that might still be the case, but at any rate please don't let your friend blame you for this glitch.

That makes me angry to read that she doesn't believe you.❤️

Good for you and your husband for great sleuthing!

In your Yahoo mail account (or any mail account), there are settings and filters that block addresses...

but also remember on the iPad (and iPhone, and probably other mobile devices) there's a section listing blocked addresses and phone numbers.

On the iPad it's in:

Settings-->Mail-->Blocked.

You might want to look there to be sure you don't see anything that might be causing a problem.

(The same list is used for Messages and phone calls.)

She said that my iPad needed to be checked with Apple support. I checked my IPad and that email finally received but 35 minutes later. I sent email to friend explaining this. I must be in the Twilight Zone. Going to get my shower. Currently raining but thunderstorms suppose to start around 6. Everyone stay safe.🤗♥️🙏

@SouthernBee

Unless you're seeing a major delay in the other things you do with your iPad on the internet,

the delay in email syncing points to a problem

with the Yahoo mail server and not your device.

Stay safe in the stormy weather!

Love to you.🤗❤️🤗

Oh, dear, (((@Drythe))).   Your post filled my eyes with tears and made my heart hurt.  It was clear from your many posts about her that your lovely Fleur was a beautiful, bright spirit.  She still is a beautiful, bright spirit, now one of those majestic, sparkling stars in the sky watching over you.  You both were lucky to be family.

Love and (((hugs))) to you and Fleur, and to all who love her.❤️

Power has been off and on, but it seems like there's a calm outside right now so I'll take advantage of that.😊
