i finally saw The Music Man after purchasing tix in Dec 2019 - the show was opening spring 2020 - after 2 postponements - the night arrived. My friend who orgainzed this - just a bunch of friends and her family.... gosh she went through a lot

as the postponement kept coming up - peeps were canceling - they went on vacation, moved, uncomfortable being around so many peeps, was not vax (you must be vaxed to enter the facilities) etc. - so she had to find replacement peeps or getting a refund which i guess the theater was willing to do bc of circumstances - otherwise - oopsie

as much as i adore Hugh (which was why i wanted to see it) - the show was fine .... just fine.... not OMG - it was the best thing ever.... i guess i'm really not a fan of the type of muscial from yesterday w/o being really yesterday (Les Miz) .... although i have seen these... not really a huge fan - such as Annie Get ur Gun, Oklahoma  

the tix cost more than i have ever paid for a ticket -it is obscene 

even their single rush tix - my friend picked up the tix a few days ago and the rush tix was around the block and they were going for $190 - Rush is usally a lot lot less

i have went many a time for Rush and saw shows for about 40-60.

if anyone want to see a show that is magic - go see Moulin Rouge

i saw it with the orig cast and i was smiling form ear to ear the entire time

i think i was stresssing of being awake to enjoy the show and my wacky hrs

but it all went well - i came home via UBER as i usually hop on a train but things have not been tranquil in our fair city as of late - peeps are cray cray

i got home midnight - phone a friend - saw a sit com - slept before 2am

woke up 6 - fed zoe - went for a long walk - ate lunch

threw a load in the washer and enjoing some cawfee right now

@dooBdoo : Thank you.  I have a question about IPAD emails. I have a childhood friend that now lives in Tennessee and me in Georgia. We both have IPads and no change in email addresses. Our sent folders verify emails sent. The last email that she received from me was 2/14/22 and she replied the same day but I never received . I have been sending emails and sent one  last night.Checked other folders: spam, junk, trash. I called her this morning. Still no changes in addresses. I sent her a quick email an she received. She sent me an email and not received. While on the phone with me- she sent her DH email and both able to respond. I sent her another email from my galaxy smart phone and my end indicated sent but she didn't receive it. She has an Apple store in her area and said due to doctor appointments probably not able to go before middle of month and all most impossible to talk with them on the phone.. I am trying not to ramble.

Now that sounds like an adventure!

I've done many live productions at the National Theatre in DC (in the past) and most were good, but not great.

We haven't gone to one in years...all the friends we used to go with have moved/died/cannot stay up late 

However, we do manage to get to concerts in Annapolis but they end by 10!  We have one coming up that was cancelled and on hold for over 2 years (like yours).

By the time we get home, I'm like your kitty....head falling forward half asleep.

Glad you got to see it...I'd have stayed up late for Hugh Jackman, too!

Y'all need a good laugh? Well - I probably still have : " that medicine head". So the new pressure cooker is sitting on the kitchen counter ready to use. I go in the kitchen to prepare the chicken soup. I put the chicken in a pot on the stove top and then turned around...... um. Oh well will use pressure cooker another day😳😳😳🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️.

Ok. I need to add more chicken broth. I forgot and used a whole bag of noodles instead of 1/2. Very basic recipe. Enjoy.♥️
