Made me laugh thinking of this....as I have some wild hair in the summer, too.

Not sure what I will do if he just hangs there through Spring, but I'm guessing I will go out one morning and he'll be gone.

Hoping so, anyway.

I hear that this is not a plan for you, but wanted to say:

From personal experience (bad), I learned that the majority of squirrels 🐿 do not survive the trap / release process.  Most die in the traps on the way to their ‘new home.’

Not a Lovely ♥️ here would be part of such, (of course NOT) but the companies don’t tell you the down side.

The snakes 🐍 being snakes, no doubt are just fine!

Likely was ‘fused by this crazy Spring to Winter weather we’ve been having, and got caught enjoying what he thought was destined to be lovely Spring day.  He found shelter at the friendly Witch Hostel, and will likely depart shortly, maybe a week or two.

@Drythe, I do hope Doo is ok!  I don’t go on that site.

Want a laugh?  I need one.  One of the specialty feeders DH bought has a large clear dome hanging over a tray.  I laugh every time I see a squirrel sitting on the tray, eating away, protected from the elements.  Was supposed to be “squirrel proof.”  Of course, with our oak trees, this bird seed is dessert.

I call every squirrel “Sammy,”. And every bear “BrrBear.”

When bears here get into stuff, they are given a tranquilizer shot and then moved into some woods.  On very rare occasions, they must be euthanized if they are considered hostile. I personally don’t know anyone who hunts here.

It's been very hard to watch the news.  My heart is breaking for what those people are going through.

We are witness to a very big evil, I think.  Hard to sleep.

I did mention a wonderful doctor who was born in Ukraine who has helped my breathing issues so much.  She has such a big ❤️.
