@Drythe : Thank you. I was busy yesterday with my paperwork and exercise twice on my recumbent bike. Today- can't get warm and can't get started. Someone else in the house was busy all day Saturday and Sunday munching on chocolate covered everything: cherries, raisins, peanuts. I need an escape plan. This cold weather makes me hungry.Trying to drink more water, staying busy and not focus on food. I am trying but some days really struggling. I can get myself in trouble easy and the tempting items don't help.

@Drythe : Valentines Day: For me- any healthy food already prepared. Craving a big salad but due to produce recall need to purchase lettuce and other ingredients but our best steakhouse:Texas Roadhouse has a delicious grilled chicken salad and I always omit the bacon and croutons. For VD can splurge and eat two.😳😄

I ordered for DH: Georgia Bulldog National Championship hat and it was just delivered. DH very happy.

When the munchies strike does fruit flavored warm tea help?  Even warm water with a bit of frozen lemon juice?

It helps me get warm, and feels like a special treat, especially if I add a tiny drop of vanilla. Just the good smell helps.

Hey, sometimes a gurl’s got to take action.

Also, a few raisins, or prunes, or dried dates.

@PamfromCT

Good to see you!

Would you mind giving a list of your top of the list supplements?

I’m trying Turmeric, as you and @cowboy sam discussed.

We also have a small humidifier in our BR, helps with dry winter skin, and hair.  Can’t do without the gentle hummmmm it makes.

Glad to hear y’all are OK in the snow.  We have an inch of ice & more to came later in the week.

❄️ wish we got the pretty fluffy stuff, rather than the wet clumpy stuff. ❄️

@Drythe : Great ideas. Will try warm water with lemon since trying to drink more water. Really haven't been hungry today but getting a headache and probably need to eat something.

Hello Lovelies!

Wishing everyone a good day!

@Yahooey, I do find Lessman’s Hair, Skin, and Nails helpful.  My nails are very short and strong.  Grow like crazy.  Wish I could say the same for my hair, but it hasn’t gotten worse.

@Drythe, Ok, will give you my tops of Lessman.  Am trying a couple new things I haven’t gotten yet.  I do nothing half-way!

Hair, Skin, and Nails

Turmeric/Curcumin

Circulation and Vein Support

Cinnamon

Ultimate Eye Support

 Vitamin D

I buy on sale and stock up.  Not cheap even still.  His Hair Skin And Nails helpful.  VItamin D a good buy.  All strengths are same price for same amount.  I take 4,000 units per day - one capsule.

Vein problems run in my family.  I had a bad bout and many vascular surgeon procedures.  After taking Lessman, it has been several years now my legs have been fine!

The Turmeric/Curcumin has given me my life back.  Really!

I am optimistic the Eye Support will help me maintain my vision.  So far, so good.  Macular vision problems all over my mother’s side of family.

Most of us never realized most of our vitamins manufactured abroad.  Not with Lessman, who I advise watching on HSN and ordering from HSN or his site, Pro Caps.

We try to be pro-active about our health.  We both have our issues, but so far I think we are in pretty good shape.  We are faxed, boosted, shot for flu, etc.  And we are very careful.  And the rest is not in our hands...

A sweet moment on Betty’s BD yesterday -

Our Winston is affectionate and will kiss when he climbs on our laps.  But yesterday, as I was lounging on the couch reading “Royals” magazine, Winston comes up to me, kisses me on my face, and then leaves.

Has never done that before.

If you don't mind my asking, how has the Tumeric helped you?

DH takes the glucosmine/chondroitin for joint pain, but he still has issues with his knees.  I always thought tumeric could thin blood (which is an issue for him), so I have avoided it.

Admittedly, I am lazy about doing research, so not sure if that is even true.

He'll only tolerate taking so many pills, so I have to pick and chose what I give him Cat LOL
