@cowboy sam : All dressed up while waiting and watching for delivery and the weather. I decided to shower and wash my hair. Tried on my new purple pjs with snow fakes and on the top caption: "All Snowed In". I thought I ordered the womens size large in petite but ordered the size medium and very comfortable and perfect size. Well on Wednesday SIL and BIL went with us to our favorite fish place. The current health issues for BIL have really aged him. SIL kept talking about the weather predicted for our area today and said we will get snow. Several people were looking in our direction. I had looked at several different weather sources that predicted snow for North Georgia but nothing for our area. She always gives out different weather information and DH always agrees with what she says. I still see nothing but rain and storms predicted for tonight and all day tomorrow 😳🤷‍♀️.

I teach my big Labs to do their big, deep, tough guy bark with a

hand signal. It has saved my butt on more than one occasion.

Once, I was out in a bad part of town, in an alley (WHAT was I thinking?) looking for a missing cat, at 3 AM! I was looking under a car, two big men approached, dog was helping me look under car, and was hidden by car from men. Stepped out from behind the car with him, gave secret hand signal, he scared the dickens out of them. They took off running! GOOD BOY!

Glad to hear your babies are cousins - nothing like a good cousin! Sorry to hear about the spine issues, and wish him well.

That's a very good idea. I've also heard the thought to teach them a verbal command in a different language so that you don't accidentally set them off.

My dog naturally goes into attack mode when I get stressed or nervous. I wish I could say that I trained her to do that, but I found out the hard way! At least I know if I'm ever truly in trouble, she'll act. Because I'll be so freaked out I won't even have to fake it!

I hope everyone stays safe and warm with some nasty weather crossing the country. I'm done with ours here--it turned out to be mostly a rain event. This morning is sunny but cold and very windy.

I love flannel pjs but hard to find sometimes some of mine need to be thrown out but?

Well,are you getting rain?? and not snow?

We have snow late afternoon but don't think it will be much. But it is 12 degrees and sunny at close to 9am.

Don't display something you aren't happy with. It's your home and you live in it. Donate it, and maybe they'll get the hint to stop giving you things like that.
Interesting that after Christmas my two friends were vising and they both give me items like this. The one that gave me this big frame: Stated - please listen: I will be downsizing to a smaller house next year: I do not want or need any home decor items. I spoke up and said: I don't want to hurt y'all feelings but I have been telling y'all the same thing for the last two years . Please I prefer that we stop exchanging any gifts. Let's just do lunch. I didn't give them anything this last Christmas. It will be interesting to see what happens.
