Hello Lovelies,

All the news that’s In my world.

DB is still not very well.  He lives a good hour away and thankfully has many friends.  Glad he retired a year ago.  Went through a messy divorce - short-term marriage to someone with two faces.  One for the world, one for him.  It was shattering.

It’s about 25 degrees out this am.  My DIL’s BD is very soon, and I want to drop off a gift for her.  A handbag I know she will love and some lotion stuff.  We won’t party though, as our COVID rates are way up here.  All been vaxed and stuff, but better safe than sorry.

Should also drop off some goodies to my DB.  I am still his big sister (I am 5-2 and he is 6-4).  How did this happen?  I am still very protective of him.  He is one of the finest people you could ever find.  Really.

Just ordered a pendant for my DIL.  Their 25th wedding anniversary will be in October, and it will be perfect.  We do plan to give them a gift of some money for more home improvements for their anniversary.  We need little for ourselves at this stage, so we do give with our warm hands.

And GS’s BD coming real soon in January, Little Toot in February.  Small gift for each with some $ to spend.  We had many lean years, bringing up and educating a family.  Charity

is part of our faith.

Lubs to all!

@PamfromCT

Thank you very much for your kind thoughts.

Just a touch of flu, although vaccinated.  Nothing considering everything going on, but it wiped me out a bit.  Climbing back out though, thankfully.  Recovery is harder on all of us in the midst of such loss, and sore hearts I think.

You are a warm, kind, loving, generous, thoughtful, ‘mommers’, ‘grandma’, Sister, and Wife.  I know they all love, and cherish you bunches.  I am grateful to call you Friend.

Well Wishes to you, and your loved ones. 🌻🌻🌻

@Drythe, I am very honored to be your friend.

I am far from perfect, but I love fiercely.  I do know I can drive people cray cray, but they tolerate me.

Life is short.  All of a sudden you wake up and realize you are “elderly.”  DH and I are Mimi and Opa to our GC.  We would so love to live long enough to see them grown.

We all, each and everyone, are caring people.  And how we love our furry friends.  For some reason, DS’s Rottie pup, about 100 lbs, has taken quite a liking to me.  He’s still in training, and their late Bailey was a Rottie who was the biggest puff you could ever meet!  They also have an older dog, kitty, and gerbils.

DD and SIL have two kitties, Hemingway and Chirpie.  Of course, they are spoiled like crazy.

Take care, my friend!

@PamfromCT : Currently refusing any shots or more test. Day of office visit they tried to make me pay almost $2000- a balance from the 2019  and 2017 shot but the 2017 shot was paid for. They have threatened to turn me over to collection agency. I have been  in constant contact with my insurance company and they verified- do not pay and not responsible. The office has filed incorrect codes and failed to submit request documents. When I returned from the office visit - I called the insurance company- phone call lasted over and hour and the insurance cs called the doctors office while I was on hold. They told them what was needed to process for payment. They advised me to call insurance back in 30 days to check on status plus call if I receive anything about balance due. I am so tired of this .

@Yahooey, What a good idea for those huge exercise balls!

Actually, that is more my body shape right now.  I eat when I am stressed....and like so many of us, I am stressed.  I only leave the house except to go to doctor’s appointments.  DH goes grocery shopping late before grocery store closes, and has been bringing home forbidden treats.

@SouthernBee, You have done so very well!  Just keep doing what you have been doing.  I would suggest a bone density test, if you have ‘t Had one recently.  You just lie on a table and they scan your hip.  that’s it.  Your height loss seems like you might mean some bone strengthening support.

I have a Prolia shot twice a year.  Dr. figured out my desired Calcium intake, which is now less than was once advised.

I think due to undesirable repurcussions.  Also enough Vitamin D is essential.  I no longer have osteoporosis, one step below, so I will continue as long as they let me. I have never had any bad effects.

Happy Sunday Preds and Friends!

Please forgive my absence.  Life has been keeping me so busy.  My dad was in the hospital last week.  He had a blood clot.  Long story involving Pancake 2.0.  He's home now and he's okay.

The weather has been horrific - super cold, ice, freezing rain.  Ugh.

Finally getting around to taking the Christmas tree down.
