Hello Lovelies!

Well, we rented the new James Bond movie, Daniel Craig’s last, from Amazon Prime.  I am thankful for my dull life LOL after watching this movie.

It it still is a Winter Wonderland out there.  Let me explain to you why I call it such, just between us kids.

Many years back, my DIL had an appointment at a smaller suburban hospital to have a minor surgical procedure.  I promised I would take her (and her visiting mother).

Of course,  naturally, a major storm that day.  But appointments are hard to come by, so I picked DIL and Mom, up and off we went.  Snowed like crazy.  Procedure went well, and we finally left the hospital.

Before leaving the hospital lot, some car slid into mine,  it just hit the back bumper.  So picture this.  We are on the highway heading to DIL’s home.  On a multi-lane interstate, with huge tractor trailers barreling around me.  Road is in bad shape.

Now my DIL’s late mother would never drive on a highway.  OK.  But here I am, knuckles white on steering wheel of my car, when her voice rings out from the back seat.

”Isn’t this something?  We’re in a winter wonderland!”

To save my sanity, I try to remember stuff with some humor, even when it wasn’t funny at the time.  Hence, WINTER WONDERLAND.

Lubs to all!

That is a beautiful path!  Good for you getting out!

When I worked and ran at lunch hour, I enjoyed being out when there was snow on the ground.  It was energizing and good for the soul to be challenged by nature.

Not sure about Weebles....such a cute toy!

@PamfromCT Once when I was driving on a sheet of ice coming home from Christmas my husband was playing with a battery operated tv and some game show was on.  After about 30 minutes, I screamed TURN THAT THING OFF!!!!  Off it went!

Another time I was at the wheel in white out rain (no way could we stop or get off at an exit because we couldn't see them until too late) he tried to make conversation and I screamed S H U T   U P!  Worked like a charm.  It's all in how you say it don't you think?
