I'm excited.  I ordered 2 gifts on 11/20 from ShopHQ.  I don't usually buy from there, but they had what I wanted in stock and at a good price.  It's been in process since that time, and the item is now sold out.  I was just getting ready to see if I can cancel that order and it shipped out finally.   I was just going to place an order with Bed Bath and Beyond for a comparable item and hope I got it in time for Christmas.

I'm still so behind on gifts.

Good morning Lovelies,

Hope you are all warm and well.

@cowboy sam, Sadly, DH’s mug gonzo.  Fell on kitchen floor.

Always favorites that break, right?

@SouthernBee, A new bathroom redo!  How exciting for you.

Is it a half or full bath?  Fun to redecorate a bathroom because it’s not crazy expensive to do so.  Your tree is pretty, by the way.  Not surprising.

DH and I got out into “civilization” yesterday.  Visited Barnes and Noble and the new version of Hallmark stores cropping up in our area, offering so much more than the old version.

The Barnes and Noble has a large and amazing amount of educational and craft toys for all ages of kiddos.  Bought one each for GC - don’t know if additional for Christmas or for GS’s January BD or GD’s February birthday for add-ons.

I bought me a special edition of how the royal family celebrates Christmas.  I have my little library of royal stuff, which I just love.  Also bought a new address book.  I like to see stuff in writing.  The old one is ancient.  Will probably work on it after the holidays.

Hugs and Lubs to all.

@PamfromCT

I love wandering around Barnes & Noble.  So many have closed up.

When my kids were little, they would have story time on Friday nights.  The  kids would be in their pajamas, and they would read books and hand out snacks to all the kids.

@PamfromCT : Really miss great book stores. So sad about DH special mug.🥲.

The bath room is 1/2 bath in the den that I call my bath room. Really blessed having this bathroom. The area that we live in are a lot of the older homes that were called 235 homes from the house redevelopment of the 60's. Our house was built in 1966 but not purchased until something like 2002. Many have been remodeled several times. So many neighbors still have just one bath room. Our bigger bath room in the hall was redone in 2016 by ReBath. We had the tub removed with walk in shower, higher vanity, bigger storage closet and new tile floor. The job was completed in 3 days. They sent a sales rep and able to order everything from samples and videos. Great not having to go all over town shopping for everything. This is not for everyone but really helped us. One of my friends always said that the style looks fake or cheap but of course she lives in a $200, 000 house and ours is $90,000 😳😄in an older neighborhood. So too many details. My 1/2 bath : new floor with no grout lines to struggle to clean. New taller vanity with two drawers on one side instead of double doors. Better design sink and easier to clean faucet. New light fixture. Project completed in two days. The sales rep came in September but understood that it could take longer for product availability. So I will consider this my Christmas gift to self. I always save my share of any tax refunds for home improvements. Hopefully after New Year will have the carpet for the den, hallway and living room replaced. Carpet already selected just need to purchase and schedule. Our home is very comfortable. I count my Blessings daily.🤗❤️ Changing from a white bathroom:Cabinets and sink color. Bathroom floor:
