@Mj12, How often do you have to go into the office?  How long is your commute?  I have been retired so long I have forgotten what it is like.  I hope you like your job and that you are appreciated.

Hi @PamfromCT 💜 I live approximately 13 miles from my office but with DC traffic takes 2 hours each way to drive, so I take the Metro (subway). I love, love my job and the people I work with, which is very rare.

Working in Washington, and being able to take a subway in, sounds very exciting.  The opportunities to visit all the monuments and museums would make me very happy.

The last time we were in Washington was so many years ago, following a trip to Williamsburg.  You are so fortunate to love your job and to be so appreciated.  Good for you!

i had an adventure - 

i met my friend, the one who brought me to her cousin's home for the yarn festival

btw - how are the alpacas? are they housebroken yet? 

we met - where else? in bryant park 

ate some delicous food from the kiosk and gawked at the ice skaters

music blaring from the speakers - low 50s with a strong wind coming off the ice rink (lol) and NO sun which made it colder than what the temps say

all the tourists have flocked back into the city

people i know who worked there, have not gone back into the city

people were everyone and were annoying me - lol

we walked down 5th ave and saw the lit tree in Rockefeller center

again- people were everywhere and still annoyed me

i also picked up my sneakers from DSW - whoo hoo

i tried them on weeks ago and was hoping for a good sale - 

black friday 25% off - 👍
