@SouthernBee

sometimes the soil is so compacted that the water will skim off as opposed to soaking in - i think watering a housepalnt once a week is good - a good watering

you may want to water a little at a time to acclimate the soil -

idk - really

i'm hoping ur washing machine parts come in soon and can be fixed once and for all

veggies? did u say veggies..... stay tuned

i went to TJ yesterday with a shopping list - i had to go into the city which is a trek so had to think hmmm.... no- i'm not a huge pumpkin fan so i dont have to stock up on their limited seasonal items but....

i lubs their Brussel  Sprout stalk - i always buy 1 or 2 every year before poof they go away after thanksgiving - cant beat the price $3.99 - i halved them - olive oil - S&P - nuke them for 3 minutes - then toss them into whatever dish i'm cooking - sometimes the microwave will char them - love the lil burnt taste

no meyer lemons -guess still too early for dem - only place i can find them and very inexpensive - same as regular lemons almost

got some dark and white choc chips for holiday baking

Well, the leaves on your plant are looking good and not all droopy  which i think is a good sign.

uh..a suggestion..

maybe set pot that  in a bowl or something with a bit of water   like a bowl, saucer, pie tin,etc so the roots would slowly draw some of the water up into soil  to get it   all wet...  might

 help  from water not running off top of plant.

I rem..just a bit years ago.... that some plants don't like to be watered on top of soil  but  from bottom of pot.

But i am not a expert as i have no plants in my house.

GM Preds & friends!

@Yahooey oh we love Brussels sprouts n the stalk, what a good price! Of course I like to sauté in bacon grease. 🥓 makes everything better.

where are you going on a train? I'm in Ohio right now. My daughter in law had surgery Tuesday so I flew out Monday to help. I'm basically on pup duty. They have 2 huge pups that would knock her over if they could. So I'm taking care of them. I fly home tomorrow.

ETA nevermind. You  carried them home on the train. It's early. Need more cawfee.
