when u do a coutndown - do you count today as part of the countdown?

what if it is 6 in the evening? it isn't a whole 24 day -

kinda like i'm 5 1/2 years old

Thank you for these words. You are so right, bodies and feelings do act up. Seeing so much mean, and disaster here, and here, and over there, and back there, and all around, sooner or later something will POP. This is a safe place to share and release a bit, with some buddies who understand.

My heart calling has always been animals. The small bit of help I can give them keeps me sane. But, the strong, sure body is gone now, looking around for other ways to help is a necessity.

As many people are food insecure, it follows that their pets are as well. I’m part of a volunteer group that calls for donations, and schedules food pick up days and times. I’m protected from exposure, but still feel useful. Hope a new opportunity comes your way.

I love Reese's peanut butter cups and anything with nuts.

I usually have a bowl of chocolate coverd almonds or cashews out. Having 1 or 2 satisifes my sweet tooth. LOL

Think i must have been hearing my sump pump in the basement kicking in as my bedroom is above it.

We had lightning,thunder and heavy rain..but "no wind or damage" last night but heard from St. Louis to other parts of my state here in Illinois had tornados! Will need to watch tv news after its daylight and pictures taken of damages.

Hope anyone in or near those towns are safe today.

It rained all day Sunday and all through the night. It's very windy too. I was in the grocery store yesterday, and they lost power. I was drenched by the time I put the groceries in the car.

I don't count today either, @Yahooey . Someone once said, "It's X more get-ups." I thought that made good sense and now I sometimes say how many more get-ups it is (even though it's maybe a little childish). Whatever, it's cute.
