Let me just say I didn't wake @cowboy sam this morning.  I was awake at 3, but it wasn't me!

Also, we have several alpaca farms nearby and I have been to an Alpacafest many years ago.

They are beautiful, funny and inquisitive creatures, and their coats are divine.  I have a lovely throw I use now and then, and my husband bought me a stunningly beautiful rainbow colored alpaca shawl (at a fund raiser) that I wear often.

You can bring the Alpacas inside, but...they are pretty large, so I'm not sure most would want to. 

Finally, they hum a bit when contended...like cats purring.
