Good Morning Lovelies,

So glad @Southern Bee that you are trying that supplement.

I hope and pray it works for you.  Take two a day, stay with it

And happy to see your results on EBay.  What an amazing place.  I also love Etsy.  Good for you to encourage others to take care of themselves.

@Yahooey, Did I hear your Vitamin D levels not up to par?

I learned the hard way.  Nothing you take for your bones will work if Vitamin D not up to par.

My routine.  Put all your pills in a tiny dish in am.  Where you can see them.  Take them.  Be well.  I keep mine in a drawer in the kitchen.

Hello Lovelies,

Although I was not here long, I knew Preds was very special.

And I also knew ShowMe for a while before she passed.  Also very special.  People like that are not only good, they bring out the good in others.  Does anyone here remember ShowMe, as well?  I am sure they are buddies now.

@PamfromCT : Thank you. Look forward to trying the supplements and praying for great results. Yesterday was having issues with my lower back, back of my legs and hips. I still need to lose 30 more pounds but had hoped the 30 pound weight loss would have made a difference in my achy joints.

@SouthernBee, I was watching Lessman on HSN today, and I noticed the Tumeric Item 095-156 is on sale.  were you able to get the sale price?  I hope so.  If not, I would call HSN and ask them for the sale price.

I also called my DB because I promised I would let him know when this was on sale.

I hope it's okay to add a note about cinnamon and cinnamon supplements...   for those using it, or considering it, I'm sure you do your research but please read about the "blood thinner" anticoagulant properties of cinnamon's coumarin content (Chinese cassia cinnamon has a much content than Ceylon cinnamon), other long-term use effects, and also any interactions with RX or OTC meds -- I know, I'm a worry wart and the fact is that all of you are so kind and caring to offer ideas, suggestions, and help to each other.❤️

@Yahooey,

Sorry for your issues with the Y.  Either everything is closed because of COVID, or if it is safe to use the pool, it should be safe to offer towels.  I don’t get it.

The thought of physicals coming up is not fun.  As far as sugar, would you consider taking a cinnamon supplement?  It has to be a special type of cinnamon.  Lessman makes one that I take, but I am sure you can find similar in many places.

I take many supplements, And DH, too.  He had a “mild” heart attack out of the blue 10 years ago.  Was biking, walking, etc. so much.  It was a jolt.  My DF died of a massive heart attack, so I was scared.  We are not perfect, but at 80 and 77, we are in pretty good shape for our age.

I am an advocate for supplements, and at least trying to eat a healthy diet.  Lessman’s “Turmeric 400 Curcumin” has helped my back issues so much.

Oh, I want to mention some caution.  If anyone is going to get a COVID booster shot, make sure you don’t schedule a mammogram until 6 weeks after.  Could skew the results.  And to keep your bones strong, make sure your Vitamin D levels are tested.  Along with calcium, good Vitamin D levels are essential for healthy bones.

That’s it.  Hope everyone stays healthy and can enjoy life.  We all have our “specialties,” and this stuff is one of mine.

Thank you for kind words,

Pam

@PamfromCT

Thanks for all the information.  I need to research tumeric.

I'm very happy you and your husband take good care of yourselves Heart

@Bri369@PamfromCT@SilleeMee has done quite a bit of research regarding turmeric -- too many threads to link, but perhaps she'll post some additional ideas here for us.

Thanks for your great tips, @PamfromCT!

You are kind.❤️
